Light Lager: I had the pleasure of trying Rewind Co's Light Lager during my visit, and it was a delightful experience. The beer poured a crystal-clear golden color with a fluffy white head. The aroma was light and refreshing, with hints of toasted grains and a subtle floral note. The taste was clean and crisp, with a well-balanced maltiness and a touch of hop bitterness. The beer had a smooth and easy-drinking character, making it perfect for those looking for a lighter option without compromising on flavor. I thoroughly enjoyed this Lager and would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates a well-crafted, refreshing beer. Rating: ★★★★★
Hammer Time Hazy Pale Ale: The Hammer Time Hazy Pale Ale from Rewind Co was a true delight for the senses. As soon as the beer was poured, its hazy, golden-orange appearance caught my attention. The aroma was bursting with tropical and citrus notes, offering a tantalizing preview of what was to come. The first sip revealed a juicy and flavorful profile, with a wonderful blend of tropical fruits, citrus zest, and a subtle hop bitterness. The beer had a smooth and velvety mouthfeel, accentuating the hazy character. The Hammer Time Hazy Pale Ale is a must-try for any beer enthusiast seeking a vibrant and flavorful brew. Rating: ★★★★★
Field House Rewind Fest Lager: The Field House Rewind Fest Lager was an exceptional beer that left a lasting impression on me. Its rich amber color and frothy off-white head were inviting from the start. The aroma carried notes of toasted caramel, biscuit, and a hint of floral hops. The taste was wonderfully balanced, with a malty sweetness upfront followed by a gentle bitterness that provided a pleasant contrast. The beer had a medium body and a smooth, clean finish. The Field House Rewind Fest Lager offers a more robust flavor profile while remaining incredibly drinkable. It's a fantastic choice for those seeking a classic lager with a twist. Rating: ★★★★★

Read moreThis place has found a niche amongst some strong compitition. It is amazing that 7 micro-breweries can survive next door to each other, and that does not include a few more within walking distance and the pubs/bars that are within a longer walk or a short drive away. Proof that We like our beer especially in a social sertting. At first the name confused me, I thought “Rewind”!? Its wrong, because it doesn’t correspond to proof of establishment. But now that I have been impressed by their Social Media presence and liked the ‘nostalgia’ that founded the name, I was drawn inside and tried some solid creative brews! The Now Playing board, will have anywhere between 8-12 taps ranging from fruity juicy 🍑IPA’s to some bitter ☕️Ales and creative chili 🌶️ Pilsners I agree with some of the critics that there could be some improvements, but maybe they will adjust and figure it out, OR they’ll decide to stay different which helps solidify a different regular client to their tables of happiness. Having classic movie posters and retro looking TVs are a good idea for deco.
The built in pizza parlour is a GREAT idea. Starting at 3pm, the ovens are ready and will kick out a luscious square 12”x8” pie for $23. The cost is a little high for the portion size, but the quality is great, and are Scicilian inspired, stacked high atop a (litterally) Super Fluffy crust, and topped with fresh jngredients including their own housemade crushed tomato sauce! With that said, as much as I (used to) love food trucks, I have been disappointed too many times with overpriced, micro-portions that have killed it for me. Back in the day when food trucks were “cheap eats” is when that golden age existed for me. I understand the changing times of city bylaws, license fees, parking costs, etc have done the damage, but it’s nice to find an establishment that took this into consideration. I’m sorry! I’ve got off topic and started to vent. But as this place has intentions, Rewind will attempt to bring you back to the “good ol’ days” of Gen-X or as one writer explained it “as having an analog childhood and a digital adulthood” Be...
Read moreI’ve never been more disgusted by someone’s behaviour than the server at Rewind yesterday. I will clarify her name is Aiden/Ayden. My husband - who appears over the age of 30 - redid his license with ICBC. So of course he was given a paper license. We went into Rewind with a large group of us (10 to be exact) and the server (Aiden) didn’t ID anyone else in the group but ID’s my husband. Randomly selected? Who knows. So he brings out the paper and begins to explain how he won’t be getting a photo ID for another 30-60 days (as ICBC explained to him). She refuses to acknowledge anything he’s saying, refuses to look at his license form which has his date of birth, and proceeds to tell him she won’t serve him. Fine, no problem. He said he will go to another bar, have a drink and come back. She then makes up this story and says that if he brings outside liquor into the establishment she will kick him out. He never said that, which I told her. Then she refused to serve me, even though I had my ID because he was being “hostile”. I’m sorry, but I worked in the service industry for 12 years, and if a customer had a paper license issued from ICBC we granted it as the police use those if you get pulled over for a ticket too. So why not a bar if he can verify his license form with other forms of identification? Needless to say, we will NEVER be returning to Rewind after this horrible service. And maybe the staff should be taught how to handle customers rather than being disgruntled employees on...
