La Boite à Lunch Ekidon — Restaurant in Quebec

On two occasions we had bought delivery food from Ekidon. This time we had the opportunity to eat at the restaurant. Upon entering we were warmly welcomed, the staff is very attentive and friendly. Ekidon is part restaurant and part Japanese products store, they sell everything you need to prepare Japanese food at home. The menu features typical entrees, several sushi combos, several Japanese curry combos (definitely something to try if you've never had it) and poké bowls. This is a cute shop/quick dining place. The Japanese food tasted authentic. It took a while to come out because they made it to order. There were a ton of Japanese snacks, products and ingredients available for sale too. There are only 8 stools along one side of the wall to eat btw, so best to order to go. Petit épicerie-restaurant sympathique et accueillant situé sur Cartier offrant une variété de "snack", pâtisseries, friandises et autres produits comestibles japonais importé ou non, la cuisine me semble authentique, le personnel et j'imagine probablement la propriétaire semblaient parler japonais entre eux mais la caissière parlait tout de même un français impeccable... Les onigiri étaient excellents, la caissière était très respectueuse et sympathique. Ils ont un système de "points récompenses" donc plus vous y achetez plus vous accumulez des points qui j'imagine pourront éventuellement être converti en rabais sur vos futurs achats. Le menu était varié : sushis, repas curry, etc. Il y a un espace restreint mais raisonnable avec des banc style bistro-bar pour manger sur place mais il semble que l'endroit soit achalandé si vous y allez à l'heure du dîner vu la proximité de l'école secondaire et des multiples bureaux du gouvernement à proximité.
