Came in and ordered a few donairs. The pictures inside showed mozzarella cheese on the donairs. I ordered extra cheese on both. When I got a look at him preparing it, he had put processed cheese that were single wrapped on them. I told him this is not what I was paying for and assumed it was mozzarella from his advertising. We stumbled across King Donair while in downtown Red Deer today, and we’re so glad we did! Not all donairs are created equal, and these were easily some of the best we’ve ever had. The meat was perfectly seasoned, the vegetables were crisp and fresh, and both the sweet and garlic sauces tied everything together beautifully. I can't be mad with the shawarma because it was pretty cheap, But the shawarma was a barely wrapped pita bread and it was definetly heavier on the vegetables than the meat. The Chicken shawarma was also pretty cold and generally did not enjoy nor finish the wrap. The owner is a very nice man so I wish him well.
