UPDATE: I was finally contacted by "management" at Carl's Jr in Regina and was unfortunately hugely disappointed at his response. The manager basically said he'd offer me $1 for my inconveniece (That's not even the amount we were overcharged) for their sign being wrong

They had actually broken the lawSection 74.05 of the Competition Act is a civil provision. It prohibits the sale or rent of a product at a price higher than its advertised price. The provision does not apply if the advertised price was a mistake and the error was immediately corrected.

They had been overcharging for a "long time", (quote from employee) They could be fined up to $750000 here and he offers me $1.

Too bad a restaurant with great food has such poor management. I responded to his email but its been two weeks and no response, again. I've moved my rating to 1 star; not because of the food.

ORIGINAL: Had this all written in August, but forgot to send it.

Chicken fingers were piping hot and very good. Thick burgers (two) were luke warm but very tasty. Would have returned them for hot ones but in a bit of a hurry today.

The bathroom (women’s) unfortunately, had a sewage smell but the rest of the restaurant was clean.

The biggest disappoint was that Our bill rang up higher than we estimated, so we had to ask for our receipt (wasn’t offered originally)checked the price of the thick burgers in our bill vs. Their reader board behind the til . We were charged 75 cents more for each burger. When I mentioned the discrepancy to an employee, he simply said that the price was wrong on the board and had been for a long time.

Not that 75 cents x each burger is a big deal, but Canadian law prohibits charging more than an advertised price. If they had no control over their board, there should have been a sign or information given by the servers if there was a discrepancy. Never mind it had been that way for a while.

I had also given feedback at Carls canada, but that seems to be a waste of time as they say each franchise is independently owned and even though I had asked to be contacted, no one ever did.

Hope to have a better experience the next time I drive through Regina and perhaps stop there...

We order 4 meals with large fries. Just before close. Get home and this is what they consider a large fry. My son calls down and the person is arguing with him telling him this is what was ordered. My son keeps telling him that it was not. I finally take the phone and ask him for the manager but he tells me that he is the "shift leader" I then ask him for the managers name franchise owners name and district managers name. He refused all. It was going back and forth and finally tells me the mangers name. But would not tell me when he was in or how to contact him.

He then tells me that if I come back ( during a thunder storm and keep in mind they are closed now he will give me the correct size fry.

No ticket number for the complaint. Nothing. So I refuse to drive back in just for this. Burger looked ok but was cold. Reading other reviews here in recent months it sounds like there are issues with the cook line and management.

This shift leader was more interested in arguing with me about the size we ordered and what was given. I asked if it was because it was nearing closing and they did not want to make more.. there was no answer. All I got was what would you like me to do. Well what I wanted you were not willing. You could have sent something through skip the dishes. But you want to argue. Maybe you saved the delivery fee but if you would have given what was ordered and not argue and fight the customer about what he ordered there would have been a much different review. Large fries were paid for. This is not a large. You lost a customer my kids would ask for carl Jr's once a week as a treat after evening classes. So we paid roughly 50$ not a whole lot. But it's 50$ a week that this establishment won't see again. So whatever you thought you were saving, you just lost many times over. I would like to share this with a district manager but no one seems to know their name or contact information. So I guess the franchise holder just does...

Order was 22 minutes later than said it would be. Missing a coke , 2 dips for chicken strips. Food wasn’t hot when we got it 2 orders of fries were all over the bag - fry containers completely empty. Our last order was missing items so this time I’m pretty pea ed off. Phone carls jr. they said they couldn’t help had to phone skip the dishes. Went to skip the dishes no phone # had to do it online. Really ticks me off when I can’t talk to an actual person. Tried to do on line .. it would take 2 missing items but when you put the third one in it would disappear and I would have to start over. . Phone carls back and said I spent $63 I expect it fixed without the hassle… she said she would keep the bill there and I could come down to the store and pick up. Well my car is in the hospital that’s why I had it se

Delivered. So she said she would have skip the dishes call me. After about another 5 minutes they called. And started giving me instructions how to get credit online. I was so ticked I hung up. I don’t want a credit I want what was suppose to come with the meal and I actually wanted it with the meal. Very bad service on both parts don’t plan on ever using either business again. Very poor service very poor solutions for “THIER” mistakes ! As well not given a choice of tipping delivery driver percentage starting at 15%. They did not deserve a tip at all. Charges for delivery as well charges pst, a device charge, service tax charge and gst. Nothing like getting soaked. Got cold food and 3 missing items that mattered to meal. Especially being short a drink. I guess they don’t care if they get return business. Someone should teach them some customer service . Both businesses unimpressive. Mac Donald’s would have been...

First time trying this chain... was pretty legit over all but a few hiccups with the food and service. Tim's has better bacon... The El Diablo burger was pretty good tasting, having the jalepenos and poppers make it what it is, the bacon was an absolutely pathetic attempt at meat and second was not even cooked for more than 10 seconds. It was translucent fat for 95% of the strips, and as said, completely uncooked. I actually grabbed a tims sandwich the next morning and the bacon from there blew Carl's out of the water, that should really say something there. The Hawaian chicken sandwich was pretty good and tasty but messy as hell and wayyy too much lettuce and mayo. The crisp cross thick cut fries were pretty solid and same with their regular fries, standard. Service could have been a lot friendlier and when I asked for extra napkins she gave me literally three extra.. glad I tried it but never again unless Its the only thing around.
