Thank you for your response! I did order a latte but for the hot chocolate, I was telling my previous experience with your cafe. Perhaps you want to make it clear that the hot chocolate is good but I still afraid to order it. Also, the reason that I came to the cafe was to study. The first spot that I was sitting in had a plug that I can charge my dying laptop. I agree that it’s reasonable to ask to move to another spot, but I felt upset because I can’t do my work as there were no plugs around the new spot.

Like you know due to COVID-19, most places got restricted by limiting capacity or closing down the businesses. As the university is one of the places that has been closed, it’s hard to find a place to study for the students. I feel like I’m the one who made a scene but I was just wanted to do my study.

Lastly, I'm not explaining my situation for you to understand or want you to understand, because I don't know you will care or not. but thank you again for responding.

𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗦 with the café that the drinks and the services weren't good to me. Every time I came to drink it disappointed me. I had ordered hot chocolate like couple years ago, which the mixture of the drink was mostly water that I only could taste the Nesquik powder. Today I ordered latte and it was not my taste.. Lastly, I know it's a small café that There aren't a lot of sits but they should let customers sit wherever they want to sit. I was sitting in the corner of the table where two people sit but they told me to move to another spot so other people can sit more. which I understand but the thing that I’ve got trigger to write this was they 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗺𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗸𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝘃𝗮𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗯𝗶𝗴 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗽𝘀. I still want to come to this café with excitement. Hopefully, they should rethink of...

The drinks are good, the food is good. Albeit too small, the space does have that European Cafe feel. My big hiccup here is actually the hygiene. They do not use gloves when they make your food (at least at their sandwich bar/counter which everyone can see from behind the counter) and the employees making the sandwiches were wearing rings which are traps for bacteria. We could also see them touching receipts and then the food right away without washing their hands. Receipt paper is actually toxic and can lead to cancer just by handling it, so eating food that has been in contact with those chemicals will probably not help. We have also noticed that they were using the same counter for dirty dishes and food and drinks being served and they were not wiping/cleaning the counter in between. Overall, this was very disappointing especially because we just love that place. We are hoping that this review will encourage the owner to put in place better hygiene practices. However, for now we won't be going...

We were just passing through and needed a good coffee for the road. I googled coffee shops and saw the name and crossed my fingers it wasn’t just the name. We were pleasantly surprised. We’re bougie, no water flavoured coffee for us. The staff were lovely, food was delicious, the options many but simple, the Gluten Free Options-come on-GF heaven!!!??!!! Homemade carbs! The GF scones were the best I’ve had - had it warmed with butter. Yum!! The chicken club with a toasted GF bun. Delicious!!! Beautiful atmosphere and lovely staff!! I didn’t get to try their GF pavlova and there was one last piece -they added it to my Paris Fog to go order because they wanted me to try it because it’s so good!!! Gluten free people! You will be happy to pop in here - choices - choices and friggen delicious to top it off. We’re coming back here and will be my day time coffee stop in...

What I loved - the customer service and the vibes of the cafe! I think he was the owner but I was welcomed warmly, I did a for-here order and a take-out order for the road and he was patient as I ordered and gave some suggestions. I loved the feel of the cafe and always love supporting Indy cafes. My mocha with oat beverage and Avacado + egg toast was tasty! Not the best I’ve had but it was good. The not so great - had an iced americano to go and this is totally my own preference but it was a bit too dark and bitter for me. Also got a crispy prosciutto wrap and it was just okay. Felt like it was a bit small? Liked that it came with potato’s but they were just okay. Super glad I visited but not necessary one I’d go back to every day if I had stayed longer.

We decided to try French Press Coffee hoping for a pleasant change, but unfortunately, the experience fell short of expectations. Although we arrived well before closing time (around 7 PM, with closing at 8 PM), the staff made it quite clear they were not interested in serving us. Their attitude felt dismissive and unwelcoming, which made us feel like an inconvenience rather than valued customers. We ordered coffee and some desserts, but the quality was just average—not enough to make up for the lack of hospitality. When a place shows little respect or enthusiasm for its patrons, it leaves a lasting negative impression. Sadly, this visit has made it clear that we won’t be returning.

It is an alright place to get some work done/study although it can get a bit loud. The toffee frappe was pretty good! The one I had was a medium. The two macarons (not macaroons like the barista said 😉) I tried were a hit and a miss. The vanilla was a bit hard/dry and had not much filling, but the cherry was softer and had more filling. They have cups and a pitcher of water to help yourself to which I appreciate. They sell a variety of torani syrups, a few 183 syrups, and their own coffee roasts.
