KFC — Restaurant in Regina

I went there between 10:16 pm - 10:49 over 33 minutes according to google maps. Worst experience ever it was cold and the doors were locked at 10:00 at night and I remember going here as a teenager/ young adult and my friend it was always open them and you can order your food hassle free and get great customer service. Well not anymore it was closed and I got back into my SUV with and tried ordering in the drive thru and he couldn't understand me and told me to pull up to the window and told me that he would not take my coupon because it's only online and said that he would not give me any food. I said to him I drove all the way here so I can get chicken for my family I would please like to get some food what could order I just wanted chicken for my wife and daughter and he told me he would give me a couple of sliders and 6 chicken pieces. I assume because they were keeping the rest of the food for online orders only! I asked if I could at least get two sides"salads" and gravy and he said sure fine. He was very rude and did not accept the coupon and refused to let me order what I wanted So instead of getting the Colonel's bucket for $36.99 ended up paying $50 dollars and when I got home there was no gravy, no side's, no fries and the chicken was old/past hold time and know because I used to work at Wendy's and A&W as the main cook manager when I was younger. The corn was burnt also. It was -58c by the time I got home and wasn't going to drive back with my family. Ended up having to eat the most disgusting meal from KFC with my family and my wife and daughter were heartbroken and felt ripped off. I would suggest that if you want good food and service to think twice about this location. What is the point of sending out coupons in the mail anymore if it's only online just wasting paper! I will never go back to this location again. I will not give them my business again. I am grateful that my family didn't get food poisoning it was so disgusting and gross. Once upon a time they used to toast the Twister. That’s what I used to like about this branch. That’s a thing of the past now. Just another meh KFC branch following suit.

Today ordered 2 piece chicken combo. Came with both white meat. KFC I knew would include a number of dark meat piece(sj for the various boxes. Server’s response was “This meat is more expensive”. That’s not even the point. If they were out of dark meat at the moment , could always check: “It would take longer so instead we can make it all white meat.” . Customer’s money, their convenience. Looks like everytime we have to spell out now what the default is as your preference. Even if default may change at KFC end, we do know which kind of meat customers usually prefer. But at least while I was leaving the counter server was kind enough to direct me with the next step: “You can speak to the manager”. That’s awfully sweet. I think I will just leave it here instead, as an even better alternative. And genuine question: The 5 dollar promos thats going on Mon - Fri, I think Thursday, Twisters are 5 bucks. It doesn’t say Regular Twister. So when you ask for spicey twister, you get a regular twister with just spicey mayo. There is no zinger inside, just tenders. Happened thrice. Next two times while ordering I specifically mentioned for a proper spicey twister with zinger inside. But they refused to include zinger and were like “We can make it spicey with spicey mayo”. Looks like even spicey twister is not what it used to be, on the promo days at least. Like what’s up with...

So- after I left my review below, within five minutes I got a free popcorn chicken coupon from KFC. As if that makes up for their brutal hygiene or gross meals? 1 free 3$ order of popcorn chicken? Lol- not even reimbursing my meal? Nope. They are saying “Have 4 popcorn chicken pieces” lol. I wouldn’t want them anyhow because the place is repulsive. Thanks for not making this right KFC.

So many things- soggy food, hard to order etc. but worst and grossest of all is this- They call your order by food and not number or receipt. FYI the meals all sound the same ie) “extreme two piece meal” or “two piece meal” who knows…. When you go to pick up at the counter there is No verification it’s yours. Like- no need to show a receipt, nope! Just take any meal and go. Great place to get a free meal FyI. Needless to say many many orders are the same. I accidentally took someone’s food to my car. I Opened it to make sure it was all there. Fiddled with the food with my HAND inside the gross soggy food box. Realized it was NOT my order. When I returned and said “ this order isn’t mine but it’s likely not good because I handled the food”, it they put it on the counter and gave it to the next person who ordered that exact meal!!! Ew ew ew ew ew ew!!
