Extremely rude staff. I went there today (Aug. 02) at 12:30PM. I was with my family and we ordered three vanilla frappes and one coffee at drive through. I paid at the first window and when I reached the second window, they had prepared four coffees. They said we are sorry, we'll correct the order if you could just wait in order spot no. 1. Although we were getting late, I said no problem and parked my car at spot. No. 1. After waiting for 5 minutes, a young boy came out and started yelling at me that he wrote the order correctly, it was four coffees. He was implying that I was lying. He said that if you want three frappes and one coffee, you have to pay more. I said what about all the inconvenience you have caused. He said, he hasn't. I asked to see the supervisor. When I entered McDonald, he was angrily telling his supervisor how I have lied about the order that he wrote correctly. I approached the supervisor and told her that he was lying and she abruptly told me that I have to pay $2 extra if I wanted my order. Well, $2 was not going to make me any poor neither was it going to have any effect on McDonald's but now I will never go to that branch again. I got my refund and left. The supervisor was insisting that mistakes like this happen but what she didn't understand was that still her employees have no right to be rude with the customer. Being a marketing professor, this is my advice to McDonald's that staff of this branch needs to be trained in...
Read moreI have been going to this McDonald’s location for a very long time. I went to the drive-thru to order iced coffee, and the person at the drive thru kept speaking over me every time I tried to explain my order. I ordered two black iced coffees with no cream and no sugar. I ordered another iced coffee with light cream and light sugar. When I pulled up to the next window, they handed me coffees that looked transparent and didn’t taste very good. It almost tasted like water. It was watered down coffee. I asked them if they could politely make me new iced coffees, as these ones tasted like water, I would see through it, and the other one looked more like a milkshake than an iced coffee. They re-made new iced coffees, however, they ended up looking and tasting the exact same way. It’s too bad, as I used to really like this McDonald’s location. But lately, I find that the staff are rude, they talk over you, it seems like they aren’t fully trained, and the quality of the iced coffees have gone down overall. Thank goodness for Tim Horton’s, Starbucks, and other coffee places. I would rather pay a little more money to receive a correct coffee order. I won’t be returning to this McDonald’s...
Read moreThe South Albert location for the last year and a half to 2 years has been a consistently bad experience. We go to McDonalds a lot because of the play place. We will be avoiding the south location though as it seems to lag behind the other locations in quality, cleanliness and especially customer service. We place large orders so I generally have to go back to the counter to correct an item or 2 which is no big deal. But for some reason at the south location there is never anyone available to help. The expeditors packing and sending out the food avoid eye contact and act like they don't hear you when you say "excuse me". I waited 9 minutes at the counter tonight before giving up. Also the fryer oil always seems to be burnt or old so the fries leave that chemically bitter aftertaste in your mouth not just tonight but on most of my recent trips to this location. And lets call a spade a spade... the bathrooms are forever broken, smelly, and generally gross that leaves one feeling not so hungry anymore. I'm surprised McDonalds Franchise management has let this location slide for so long. All the other locations we visit seem to live up to a good...
