Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Regina

My pizza pizza order that I recently placed and recieved was poor. I haven't ordered pizza pizza in a long time but have fairly good memories of when I would eat it by the slice when I lived in Ontario. This nostalgia pushed me to order it here in Regina for the first time. It was probably the most disgusting pizza I've ever had in the last year.

My issues with my order: I asked for roasted garlic - pretty sure it was not placed on the pizza as that pizza did not have any garlic flavour unless they are using the most blandest flavorless garlic possible. I asked for the pizza to be well done - it was not. The cheese on the pizza had absolutely no stretch or stringy quality that you expect from a mozzarella. Instead it was this weird creamy mushy texture that coated the whole pizza. It was gross.

I honestly tried but I ended up throwing out half of my large pizza - we just couldn't eat it with that cheese on it. It is definitely not a high quality mozzarella - I suspect it's not even mozzarella, it tasted and resembled processed melted cheese.

I don't normally write to complain but honestly the whole thing with delivery costed me $40 for one pizza. It's a lot of money right now for me. When I emailed customer service they gave me $15 credit to use at store attached to my phone number. Like hell I would ever want to eat anything else from this place.What is themost disheartening piece is that I remember having really good pizza from pizza pizza and this was just so awful that I was truly disappointed. Don't buy pizza from pizza pizza in Regina. I would give this place and the whole customer service negative stars if I could. Truly awful inedible pizza.

Update: I was asked to send my review to an email address - however I contacted them first before publically posting a review and got a $15 credit towards a future purpose. It was the most insincere solution to a customer complaint. I'm pretty sure the approach to customer service is go bleep yourself. Why would I buy more pizza when the first was so disgusting I...

I got a flyer in the mail and they advertised their fixed 4 topping special for 18$ and I thought I'll give it a try because it was cheap enough and I usually think even bad pizza is better than no pizza PIZZA PIZZA proved me wrong...bad pizza is BAAAAAAAAAD pizza. The crusts are truly bland and tasteless. It tasted like nothing more than flour and baking soda. Sauce. It was red. That's about the best I can say. A sauce is your primary elements after crust. It should be full and thick and flavourful. This is not. Toppings The toppings were ok but they didn't exactly strike me as anything exceptional. The cheese was the minimal amount. The cooked product was enough to cook the crust and warm the toppings. The cheese was melted anoigh but you could tell it was shredded cheese and it still looked like shredded cheese. The cheese should be abundant and melted enough so it all blends together with the other toppings. As for cooked...I live very close and my pizza was barely warm by the time I got home. One pizza I ordered was to have crumbled and strip bacon. There was NO strip bacon on the pizza at all. Pretty sure I did not get the entire pizza I ordered. Eating the pizza itself was not a pleasant experience. It just did not taste good at all. I won't be ordering from Pizza Pizza again.

Please, if you read this review, stick to the Regina old school and best places you can't go wrong...

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

I ordered delivery at 6pm using the pizza pizza app and I specially mentioned in the order that the driver need to come to the door and ring the door bell. He did not ring the bell and instead called me at around 6:25.I never pick up calls from unknown numbers so I didn’t picked up his call as well. I called the store at 6:30 to check on my order as it was showing as delivered on the app but I didn’t receive it. They tell me that the driver called and I didn’t pick up so I apologized and they told me the driver is doing another delivery in the same area and he will be here in 5-10 mins. It’s 7pm (1hr after placing the order)and I call the store again asking for my order they say driver is just 1min away I wait for 5 mins and call back, got same answer, the driver came at the back door called me again( I asked to ring the door bell in the special instructions) I picked up the call and went to the back door, not the front door where he should be.I didn’t mind the delays and all but the driver started arguing with me that I didn’t pick up the call and that our apartment does not have much parking space when he was the one who clicked on order complete 30 mins before I received my food. He did not ring the door bell as I asked while placing the order and I received my food after 1hr 10 mins(order placed at 6pm, received at 7:10) because of which the food was super cold. This was the worst...
