I was happy to find something open past 10pm. A&W is open 24 hours but they weren't answering...
They lack customer service, big time: Like any Subway, they have an "order here" sign and we were standing there. Two different parties came in after us...they stood far, close to the door, looking at the menu.
One staff member was tending to in-store orders and another was tending to Skip orders. The guy working from the tablet could have said "someone will be without with you" but did not. No hi, nothing. So we waited for the other staff member to finish with the customer infront of us to then serve us but no...he looked at the other guy who was standing in the middle of the store, calling him up to take his order!
I was shocked at the disregard for customers waiting to order under the "order here" sign...why the staff member ignored us, I can only speculate. I spoke up for myself though, and made note that we were waiting first and also by the sign...the Sandwich artist then helped us first. The other guy would not move to the place he should have lined up at, but I was glad the staff member corrected his error.
Food was mediocre. It's been a while since I've been to Subway. It was okay considering it was the only option at 10:30pm...maybe that's why it didn't seem as fresh...
I would go back in a pinch...convenient hours... HOWEVER staff need to improve upon their customer service skills. Customer service makes ALL THE DIFFERENCE. The food can be poor but if the interaction was pleasant, that's all the...
Read moreI’ve never been this disappointed with a Subway visit before. The guy working the night shift at this location is extremely rude and clearly has no idea how to treat customers. First off, I asked for my wrap to be grilled — something I get done at pretty much every other Subway across Canada — and he flat out refused. He told me Subway has “stopped” offering the grilling service. Seriously? That’s absolute nonsense. I literally just had a grilled wrap at another Subway a few days ago. I even pointed out the working griller right in front of him, and instead of doing his job, he started arguing with me. He claimed the “owner” told him not to grill anything. If that's true, then what kind of owner runs a food business by making up fake rules and removing basic services?
To make it worse, this guy wasn’t just rude to me — he was being nasty with other customers too. A delivery driver politely asked to use the washroom. The men’s washroom was locked, and instead of helping, the staff told him to use the women’s and added something absolutely disgusting: “You won’t be a woman if you go inside, and no one will do surgery on you.” How the hell do you say something like that to someone? That’s not just rude — it’s offensive, disrespectful, and straight-up ignorant.
This kind of behavior is shameful. Subway should seriously look into who they’re hiring and what kind of customer service standards they’re setting. And if the owner truly supports this kind of nonsense, they’ve got no business running a...
Read moreI visited the Subway location around midnight on 10th march at 2.40 AM and was shocked by the poor service I received. The employee working was incredibly unprofessional and inattentive. First off, the store was in a complete mess, and it was clear that he wasn’t focused on making the food properly. The sandwich I ordered (3 veggie patties)was thrown together sloppily, and the ingredients seemed like they had been left out for hours.
The worst part was the attitude of the worker. He seemed irritated that I was even there and barely spoke to me. When I asked for a specific customization, he rolled his eyes and gave me an attitude, as if my request was a major inconvenience. It’s clear that he had no interest in providing any sort of decent customer service.
Not to mention, the place was poorly lit and uncomfortable, and the overall vibe was unwelcoming. I would never return to this Subway location, and I honestly can’t recommend it to anyone. It’s a shame because I usually enjoy Subway, but this experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth (literally and figuratively). Hopefully, the management takes this seriously and trains their...
