First off If there was an option for zero that would be it. I had came to revelstoke looking for a good time with my friends and was told about “the drop” supposedly a good place. Had a 1 drink at a bar just down the street and decided we should head over there. At entry I was pressed on id and asked multiple times if I was “okay” to come in as repeatedly said yes standing perfectly still. The bouncer then told me that he would “ Assess the situation” and asked me to stand outside. After about 10 minutes of standing outside in the same spot freezing cold the bouncer had told me that under the owners request I was not allowed to enter the club that night as I was apparently “stumbling against the wall”. All this after trying to walk straight In with basically no line (one group in front) so not sure how that exactly adds up as I was there for a total of 3 minutes before asked to wait. After being a little ticked off I had headed the walk back to the north winds hotel which is about a 30 minute walk from the last drop in a dead straight line and easily made it to the room with not one stumble. To summarize this up as a person willing to go spend money and buy drinks at this establishment I will simply not be coming back or supporting this company as I saw a lack of respect from the employees and an owner that lacks in...
Read moreOK...seriously, if someone could honestly rate the food as good here....I would have to seriously question what they've eaten before. The food is really, really bad. It was Friday night at 8pm and they had run out of chicken wings AND chicken fingers. The Reuben sandwich was silly. Two tiny slivers of meat inside a couple of pieces of bread with NO sauerkraut to be found. I stopped eating it when my friend commented that the bread was green. Bread isn't supposed to be green. On the flip side, you can clearly see this place to go for drinks and watch some live music (at least on the night we were there). So I gave it an extra star for the fact that the beer was cold and the place was busy/good vibe after around 10pm. I WILL NEVER EAT THERE...
Read moreA group of 5 of us as well as another group of 7+ were turned away for not having ID for the parties who had grey hairs and were 40+… according to the employees this is at owners request and if that is accurate that is a loss of money and sales and pretty disappointing. It is very clear someone who is clearly 40 isn’t under 19 and it is honestly ridiculous. I will not be back and speaking from our group we were were here to spend money as we are here for a birthday. The gentleman not only didn’t let a 40+ year old in but was on a power trip while doing so and I will definitely not be recommending this place or ever...
