As a frequent visitor to the Starbucks location in Oak Ridges, I must express my deep disappointment with the consistently poor service and disregard for instructions. Despite the convenience of its proximity to me, this particular store fails to meet even the most basic expectations of customer satisfaction.
One of the most frustrating aspects of my visits to this Starbucks is the repeated disregard for instructions. As someone who frequents the location, I have taken the time to clearly communicate my preferences and requests to the baristas, only to be met with indifference. Whether it's a simple modification to my order, such as requesting oat milk instead of regular milk, or adjusting the level of sweetness, my instructions are routinely overlooked.
Time and again, I have asked for a reduction in sugar content, only to receive excessively sweet beverages that leave me feeling dissatisfied. It is disheartening when a customer's preferences are disregarded as if they hold no importance. This consistent failure to pay attention to detail reflects a lack of care and a disregard for the overall experience of the customer.
Furthermore, the overall quality of the coffee at this location leaves much to be desired. The drinks often lack the rich flavor one would expect from a reputable coffee shop, with an unfortunate tendency to taste watered down or poorly balanced.
The atmosphere within the store also adds to the disappointment. The cleanliness and maintenance of the place are sorely lacking, with dirty tables and chairs that give the impression of neglect. The restroom facilities are far from pristine, contributing to an overall unwelcoming environment. It is disheartening to witness a lack of motivation and attention to detail from the staff responsible for keeping the store presentable for its customers.
Despite the convenience of this location's proximity to me, I cannot recommend the Starbucks Oak Ridges store. The consistent failure to follow instructions, coupled with the mediocre quality and lackluster atmosphere, have led to a deeply unsatisfying experience. As someone who frequents Starbucks for its brand reputation and reliability, it is disheartening to encounter such disappointments at this...
Read moreEvery time I go to this Starbucks, there is this man who seems to either be homeless or deranged sitting in the restaurant all day who gives me dirty looks and harassed me when I was cleaning off my table.
Earlier this week he asked me what I was cleaning the table with, and I told him that I was wiping the table with some 70% alcohol so I could eat and draw on a clean surface.
About a minute after I cleaned the table and was getting ready to sit down, he accused me of trying to poison everyone in the restaurant so I just got up and left because I felt unsafe. He had no reason to interact with me because he was at the opposite end of the table, making it clear that he was just trying to harass me.
He often gets up to go smoke and makes erratic movements, almost like he is dancing giving me a sense of unpredictability and danger. Three times this week I came in to draw and I caught him giving me a dirty look from inside the restaurant, almost like he wants to hurt me, so I couldn't concentrate or enjoy myself.
This makes me feel super uncomfortable and I am deciding not to return to this location like I have for the last four years.
He is a Caucasian man with a scruffy beard, and wears sunglasses on the top of his hand with a tattoo on his hand/arm.
I wish the manager would do something about individuals like these hanging around all day in and around the Starbucks, because it completely ruins the peaceful atmosphere of going to have a bite to eat, having a drink, relaxing and doing some drawing while...
Read moreI go to this location at least once a week for years. I have always had a good experience but a few weeks ago, I got there and ordered coffee, the lady who took my order (Nikki if I remember correctly, blond-bleached hair) was super rude! I go to Starbucks to be treated like royalty! What they do at every other location. They chat nicely with you and make you feel good about your day and this was the first time I was treated as if I was at a dingy diner in he middle of nowhere! She got my order wrong and stood there arguing with me! “You asked for X but I will give you Y since you insist!” She charged me for a “large” (it’s not large, Starbucks calls it grande) when I had ordered a “small” (it’s tall sweetheart! At least learn the terminology of Starbucks) and stood there flirting with the younger, male baristas! Do your job. Flirt on your own time, not mine, and one last reminder: “Correcting a customer’s order won’t make you go bankrupt! It does not come out of...
