We decided to visit this restaurant based on a glowing YouTube recommendation, which we now suspect was a paid shoutout. The reality couldn’t have been further from the hype.

When we arrived last night, our family waited for a full five minutes without a single acknowledgment from the staff. Both employees on the floor were too busy chatting with someone to greet or assist us. Instead, they blatantly ignored us, even as we stood there visibly waiting.

The dining area was completely empty, yet when we finally managed to catch their attention, we were curtly told they only accept reservations. The tone and attitude gave off a clear sense of exclusivity, as if they only serve a selective crowd.

The food was okay, but not particularly impressive. Not a cheap place to eat.

We ordered a dish that the waitress informed us was out of stock, yet it was not removed from our order, and we were still charged for it. My husband didn’t notice when he paid, but I caught the mistake and asked for a refund.

We were initially refunded only for the price of the dish itself, but since it was an expensive item, we realized the tip we had already paid might need to be adjusted as well.

While handling the refund adjustment calculation, the waitress used an 18% tip rate on the entire order. We didn’t want to argue further, but this left us with a negative impression.

Feel like the exactly same restaurant just like the one before, even though the name has been changed now. Same cuisine, same interior, same food presentation, same service.

Anyway, I really dislike their chair, looks comfortable but uncomfortable to sit on. Floor is so greasy, you feel like doing some ice skating when walking. Food is excellent and service is attentive and friendly. It’s a really busy restaurant. Only drawback is it’s a bit pricey, everything else is great.

Was surprised to see a dog inside the restaurant. Never seen a dog on owner’s lap inside a restaurant in Vancouver before, this restaurant must be pet friendly, but not sure how long this policy...
