I got a strawberry smoothie with pearls (the smaller tapioca - cool that they have two sizes) a grapefruit yakult with grass jelly, and a red bean egg waffle. I enjoyed the strawberry smoothie and waffle in the shop and took the grapefruit yakult home for later. I got the smoothie at 30% sweet which is the minimum, and it was still a little sweet but also very tangy. I loved the cream cap, which mixed in at the end to give the drink a classic strawberries and cream taste and also mellowed out the tartness. The small pearls were fun - they had a different mouthfeel than full-size boba but were still perfectly chewy. The grapefruit yakult was very refreshing - it tasted like fresh juice. Lots of jelly, which was a good match with the grapefruit. Again I got this at 30% sweet, which I liked, as even at a lower sugar level, I didn’t find the grapefruit to be overly bitter. The red bean waffle was very good! The waffle batter had a pleasantly eggy taste and each bubble was super soft in the middle. The "crust" was just crispy enough. Lots of red beans. This shop has a lot of seating and a very nice aesthetic, so you can hang out here and enjoy your drinks and waffles. The staff was friendly. They were having trouble with the waffle iron so my waffle took a while, but it came out just as I was about to go up to ask about it and they were apologetic. They definitely left me with a good impression. This location isn’t actually in a convenient location for me, but they have lots of locations in the Vancouver area, and I’d be inclined to check out their other locations based on my...

I’ve been here 5 times now but today I was pretty upset. I decided to treat my kid for some bbt and I pre ordered it in advanced online because I was in a hurry. It said 15 mins for pick up. After waiting 15 mins, I went inside and there was a big group in front of us which is fine - I waited till the cashier took their order to ask her for my order. I even smiled at her at two different occasions and she didn’t smile back. I told her I was there for pick up but my order wasn’t ready yet and she was unaware of my order as it had not been processed yet. She told me it’ll be a couple mins but 20 mins passed by. THEN she asks me again, if I’m waiting for something ??? she then tells me that the pearls are sold out and I can switch to boba instead. At this point I’m super annoyed as I’ve had to wait 35 mins for two drinks that I pre ordered, no apology either. The girl making the drink was more friendly though. She came and apologized multiple times for the wait.

Okay, I get sometimes mistakes happen and perhaps the cashier forgot to keep up with the online orders and didn’t process mine but honsstly I feel like if they didn’t see my order but they knew I ordered it ahead of time, they should’ve started making it right away instead of putting my order at the next queue and having me wait - especially when there wss a group of 10 people that put their order in after. I ordered my drinks in advance but you tell me 35 mins later that the topping I wanted is sold out … i started coming here because it’s close to us now but this experience...

As a boba enthusiast, I've tried numerous spots around town, and 101 BoBa at Burnaby Metrotown Mall truly stands out. Here's why:

First off, the variety of options is impressive. Whether you're into classic milk teas, fruit teas, or more adventurous flavors, they've got you covered. I particularly enjoyed their taro milk tea—it was creamy, perfectly sweetened, and had just the right amount of taro flavor.

Secondly, the quality of their ingredients is top-notch. You can tell they use fresh fruit in their fruit teas, and the boba itself is always chewy and delicious. Plus, they offer customizable sugar and ice levels, allowing you to tailor your drink to your preferences.

Lastly, the customer service here is excellent. The staff is always friendly and attentive, ready to answer any questions you might have or make recommendations if you're unsure what to try. Even during busy times, they work efficiently to ensure everyone gets their drinks in a timely manner.

Overall, 101 BoBa at Burnaby Metrotown Mall is a must-visit for any boba lover in the area. With its wide selection, high-quality ingredients, and excellent service, it's sure to become your new favorite spot for bubble tea. Whether you're grabbing a quick drink on the go or meeting up with friends for a boba break, you won't be disappointed with what 101 BoBa has to offer. Highly...

📍 Wushiland’s new location: 7991 Alderbridge Way in Richmond 📍 If you had one WUSH, what would it be? It would be a difficult choice with so many selections at Wushiland’s new location. It’s very spacious with high ceilings. The natural wood tables are aesthetically pleasing and it’s a great spot to hang out and drink boba 🧋Oolong tea macchiato 🧋Ovaltine latte 🧋Grapefruit with Yakult 🧋No.8 Plum & Kumquat Green Tea Wushiland offers a wide selection of brew tea, tea latte, milk tea, fresh fruit, and smoothie. Topping options are boba, pearl, coconut jelly, grass jelly, vanilla ice cream, and triple combination of boba/pearl/coconut jelly! My favourite was the Oolong tea macchiato. There’s something satisfying about sipping fresh brewed tea through a creamy layer of luscious creamy foam. Although you can drink it with a straw, try sipping it without a straw as the creamy layer can enhance the flavours of the tea I’m also love the No.8 with tangy and citrusy flavours from the kumquats. I had it with 30% sugar, so it was a bit sour and that’s the way I like it. The ovaltine latte was delicious and had a creamy, malty and chocolate-like taste from the Ovaltine. This new location could easily become the next local favourite boba hangout with the clean and spacious interior. I look forward to coming back to try some more boba IG: @vancityh

A friend and I dropped by 101 Boba in Richmond for a drink. As I had recently tried the Four Season Tea with Mango Sorbetto at the Metrotown location of 101 Boba, I recommended that drink to her so she decided to order that while I decided to try Oolong Milk Tea. She enjoyed the Four Season Tea with Mango Sorbetto, but my Oolong Milk Tea was just OK. I'm not really a big fan of Oolong to begin with, but I just thought I'd try something different. I thought perhaps Oolong might taste better to me as a bubble tea drink. Hmmm...judging from the drink I had at 101 Boba, it would appear not. I saw a lot of cups on the counter with strawberries in them. It seemed like there was some kind of strawberry drink that was very popular at this place. I'm guessing it was the Strawberry Smoothie. Think I'll give that a try next time! Service: Good Parking: Plentiful and free! Location: In a small plaza, around the corner from the Japanese market Izumiya as well as the Japanese BBQ restaurant Gyu-Kaku.
