Went there with a friend on a Friday night at prime dinner time and there were a lot of empty tables. Atmosphere was great, very decorative. We ordered some bbq and drinks and it took more than 30 minutes for the first bbq to come. Bbq beef came first and it was just barely warm, bbq lamb came second and it was just the same. At that paste, a bbq dinner turned into French cuisine.

Good qualities varied depending on what you ordered. But it was the first time ever I’d ever seen to have been cut in half to make it look like 2 pieces. $18 for 4 bbq corn was certainly scaring me off. I ordered a $10 grape calplus and it came 15 minutes after ordering when the restaurant was half empty. The color of the drink was grayish, look like dishwashing water and certainly didn’t have any resemblance of neither grape nor calplus. I asked the server if they gave me a wrong order and she felt nothing wrong with the color and told me that it was what I ordered. I wonder how many people would have the courage to drink to the bottom of that…….

The service was, without a thought, horrible. They would serve you soup but no one gave you bowls, and then you would have to ask for spoons and they would once again told you they only had 2 for the moment. I asked why the food was cold and they answered because their staff was busy dressing up as cartoon characters and was waving at the customers at every table. No one would ever picked up the empty dishes on your table. I had oysters and clams and no one would come collect those empty shells unless you asked them to. There was one particular server that caught my attention. He was walking from kitchen to the end of the hallway empty handedly and walk back to the kitchen once again empty handedly for more than 5 times in a row and when he finally got too bored, he came over to our table, which was right beside where he was strolling, picked up a piece of used napkin and walk away, when there were mountains of empty dishes sitting in the middle of the table.

I’d definitely not come and recommend this place to any...

This was hands down the worst dining experience I’ve ever had in Vancouver. • Front desk attitude: Even though I had a reservation, I was left standing at the entrance with zero acknowledgement. The hostess ignored me completely—busy taking orders, chatting with coworkers, even pouring herself a drink and checking her phone. When I asked again, she casually said she’d “set the table,” but then gave a walk-in party the empty table right in front of me. Not a single smile, not even eye contact. • Food availability: We were told right away that some seafood items (scallops, oysters) were “out.” Fine. We adjusted our order. • Service & timing: The first few dishes came quickly (simple stir-fry and cold appetizers), and then… nothing. For over 30 minutes we sat there with empty plates, repeatedly asking about our skewers, only to be told “they’re grilling.” Eventually, when something did arrive, it was inedible: • Grilled kidney skewers were completely burnt, black as charcoal. • Replacement skewers took forever and came back overly salty. • Chicken cartilage = burnt. • Chicken wings = arrived two hours later, undercooked and still tasted raw/defrosted. • Only positive: One kind waitress felt bad and offered us a free dessert. That small kindness was the only highlight of the evening.

After nearly two hours, we left hungry, disappointed, and frustrated. What was supposed to be a birthday dinner turned into a complete embarrassment.

For the first time ever in Vancouver, I confidently hit “skip tip” on the payment screen. Honestly, I felt like I should have been compensated instead.

⚠️ If you’re considering this place, think twice. There are far better restaurants in the city where you’ll be treated with respect and actually get the food...

We came here couple times the service was never really good anyways but I usually come here for the food so I don’t really care about their service but this time I waited 5 mins at the door waiting for someone to help me to get a table but clearly everyone who worked there saw me waiting and meanwhile they just pretending to be busy or whatever. and no one came to ask so I couldn’t wait no more and I was like hello for 2 ppl… and then after being seated I ordered 3 dishes and 10 skewers and GUESS WHAT we waited 40 mins for the food… it’s ridiculous to wait 35 mins for a small portion of soup and the soup was the first thing who came first. When the chicken wings came I was so happy that I can finally eat and then it’s just more disappointing because the wings turn out to be uncooked like you can see that one part just raw and then I complained to the server saying it’s raw and her response was “oh I think it’s a little bit raw” but no one ever apologize to me. I had a bite of the uncooked wing and they just recooked it with the wing that I had a bite … is that even food safe LOL. I also order shredded potatoes and it was extremely sour and after waiting for 40-45 mins of food we don’t have the appetite no more literally after seeing the wings being uncooked and then the shredded potatoes were hella sour 🥲 don’t even trynna bother complain to the manager because the manager’s response was like “because it was busy” and he didn’t even say sorry and for someone who work in a food industry I don’t think that should...
