ZERO STARS! This establishment has a reputation for having terrible customer service. The lady who is always at the front that does the seating has an extremely terrible attitude. The very frist time I went there the lady told me the wait time was 45 minutes and it would be ready by 730. Myself and my boyfriend waited there for 20 minutes and she told us that they sold out of fish (how is that possible when the only thing they sell is fish). However, the people who came later than us got a table and was served fish. I was so confused. So a few months later, I gave it another try. I got there at 630 and the same lady told me that the wait would be 1.5hr for a group of 3. I put my name down and waited there. 15 minutes later a group of 3 went in without a reservation just like my party and they were told that the wait would be 15 minutes! I was very confused and upset. So I told my friend who just came into the restaurant to put her name down for a group of 3 and she was also told that the wait was 15 minutes (we got seated less than 15 mins). I am extremely disappointed how they treat their customers and I would never go back again. If you want your waiting time to be based on how she feels at that particular moment, then this place would be a great choice. I believe in tipping and I tip in most restaurants but I don’t tip when there is no service being offered to me by the server. I have been to this place many times and I never had this kind of experience before but recently I went there ordered from the online menu. Someone came and handed over whatever we ordered. Then we paid around 100$ for the food but of course we did not tip! The girl comes running to the door as we were exiting and says you have to tip!! Tip for what? For bringing the food to me that I ordered of off a website? Go to states and first learn the meaning of customer service and then ask for tips! Secondly, such a shame to the owner that they don’t pay and train their staff enough so that they don’t ask for tips like that! Is it mandatory in Canada to tip? Of course not! Next time I will take a legal action towards this restaurant because I’m tired telling owners of the restaurants like these to train their staff properly and pay their workers a proper wage! It's the soul of Sichuan dish. The service here met my expectations. They have a little drawer on the side of each table to store napkins. When I was checking it out one waiter walked by and offered help right away. I called waiter/waitress for making the order a couple of times. First time the waiter was busy with other customer. So I asked another waitress. After a few minutes, the first waiter came to apologize that he got delayed. I'm not gonna list all the requests I made during the dinner. The point is I felt the warmness and the necessary attention when required. Price is fare for the food they offered. Can't complain. Also calling in to make reservations is strongly suggested. Huge crowd of people was lining up when I was there. TWO DOWNSIDE: 1. Their number is very hard to get through. Need to keep calling! 2. Dining environment is loud. Be prepare of that.
