Me Coffee&Tea — Restaurant in Richmond

This was happened last Sunday at exactly 8:55PM. The store was still open until 9pm as we double check there website.

We came from vancouver , we just finished our shift at work around 8:30pm so we rush ourselves going to the nearest gong cha co’z we are really a fan of this shop.

So this is what happen, I was entering the store with my friends we are 4 group of people to be exact when the staff there told us that they are already closed and when we reacted because we have more 5mins to go the boy staff also told us that they’re SOLD OUT FOR TODAY.

We know and we understand, but we are just so very disappointed as we always want to go here instead to gong-cha (downtown).

We also already know what to order as we prepared it co’z we are aware that we only have few minutes to get our bubble tea we want. I know it was bit too late but the way they tell that they’re already close and sold out is not fair either nit good for us as a customer that really exerted effort going to richmond from vancouver just to have the bubble tea we want.

If they’ll just gonna tell us that they cant accommodate us co’z making 4 or more bubble tea would take more than 5minutes that would be totally fine but telling that THEY ARE SOLD OUT? No it’s not gonna happen! Maybe just some of there best seller will be sold out but not there all flavours because if that’s happen they should put a notice in front of there door and we will not gonna expect.

I have a photo here with time and date as well. Just being sure that I’m not just making a story it was really happened.

Ordered through Fantuan and saw that my drink was ready for pick up. Went into store to have a worker look up at me and ignore me completely and continue her conversation with another coworker. I stood at the counter for about 3 minutes before she finally came up to ask how can she help. I told her I had a Fantuan pick up and she said it’s not ready yet and I proceed to wait another 5 minutes while they take their time to chat and finish making the drink and pack it up slowly. I can't comment on the service since i haven't been to the physical store, but the bbt is okay.

I was so excited to hear about gong cha opening here in Richmond! I am an avid die-hard fan and would go back to HK to satisfy my craving. However, I only go to one specific store on MongKok (the one on the left side, not the right one two stores down LOl) because there is a difference!

In the end, this cannot compare to that one. But it's still one of the better creamers in Vancouver :) highly recommend trying the gongcha store in HK Mongkok (the left one! You'll know because the locals will...
