Pioneer burger was crap. Burnt bun, no taste to patty or the extras on the burger, fries were all stuck together as one clumpy mass, again no taste to these fries, ketchup bottle was so cold, it didn't pour out easily, ate my fries with minimal ketchup. The salt and pepper dispensers are tall bottles, like a beer bottle, and both were so sticky and dirty , GUCKY...get my drift. They certainly were not wiped clean before I used them. Thinking about this later, I wondered who had touched them and what was on their hands...after eating my burger, i realized that what ever was growing on the salt and pepper dispensers was now in my mouth, because I held my burger with my hand...oh yummy !!! ... Hello health Department... Also my coffee cup came pre stained and the server gave me stink eye when i said i couldn't leave a tip. Went home and felt ill all afternoon.... Just CRAP...really disappointed.....Back to Vera's burgers for me... I'm glad my wife wasn't with me or I would have wasted...
Read moreThis place is a throwback pub from the 90's which has kept its old school atmosphere while updating the floors and signage. Very welcoming atmosphere with friendly wait staff, a little slow service but the service was genuine. I ordered salt and pepper wings which as expected, came with some carrot and celery sticks with a side of blue cheese. It was exactly what I expected except they took it to another level, the wings were perfectly crisp with a light panko style breading and the salt and pepper weren't overwhelming. No oil residue whatsoever, who Ever is running that fryer has it completely dialed in. It was simple and cooked perfectly. Check it out for sure daily specials with a Friday prime rib dinner. Prices also seemed from the 90's. Great place to throwback a couple pints and have some great wings. I'll be...

How do you hire a bartender who doesn't have the faintest idea what a 'slow pour' Guinness means? One of the worse Guinness' I've ever had because it was so bitter from being poorly poured. The waitress was skilled and I heard her ask for a slow pour and even offered to address the issue, so the wait staff was great and I never sat there bothered by the waitress and I never was looking for her to take my order. The perfect blend of there when I need her and invisible when I don't. The place is a classic neighborhood pub not too loud not too silent would have been great if the Guinness...
