update.! september 8th.! pizza pizza reached out and apologized for the bad service and credited mum order…. when i tried to use my credit today… guess what.! the store messed up my order again..!! and calling customer service AGAIN tries to make ME the bad person.!! really not impressed…! i really wish i could give NO stars.!!
disgusting customer service from call centre when i had a complaint about my order… got lied to by a so called “customer service” rep… got forwarded to a so called “supervisor” who treated me even worse…
i’ve been ordering from pizza pizza for more than 30 years since i was in toronto… the service and the quality in toronto was 1000% was much better than what is here in BC… such a shame since it has been a company that i grew up with.
i don’t think i will EVER order from pizza pizza again based on this experience…. especially being told by a supervisor when i asked to escalate the call to someone above them… she simply told me that “we don’t have time for your call… all the lines are busy… someone will call you back when they have the time” … i asked for a time frame that i should expect a call… and she simply replied “when someone has time!”
at least that shows that at least it is not only me that is having a bad experience.!
fast forward… feb 14 2023… i decide to try ordering again… to give yet another chance… and can’t order to my address… but yet the building next to me … it allows… call customer service and they BS saying that the store is closed… and they try to tell me that the building next to me is a different store… when i asked which store they said st. edwards.! which is the store that has always delivered to me in the past… fine with me.! i won’t bother again.! and i would suggest that anybody who reads this to keep cleat away from this business.! if you happen to be in toronto where they began… it’s worth a try… they have become WAY too high on themselves entering...
Read moreOrdered a couple slices one evening, only to be very disappointed with both the food and service. The slices in the glass display did not look like the usual pizza pizza slices, yet I ordered as I was hungry and looking forward to it. Ate half of the first slice and from the beginning it tasted way off. The slices were thick and gooey, I inspected it and realized the dough was raw underneath the thin layer of cheese. I brought it up to the counter again just looking to get it reheated a little longer. As I tried to explain that I thought it was a little raw she immediately became defensive saying they made the pizzas thick there and it was to standard. She tossed it in the oven reluctantly, when I got it back 30 sec later (Still Raw) I tried the second slice and immediately went back saying it was still doughy and showed the raw dough between my fingers. I asked if it was possible to make a thinner pizza to have a slice of and that wasn't possible apparently. The manager from home and watching what I assume was through the camera's calls in to speak to me and asks what the problem was. I explained the situation and even more aggressively told me that the pizza is to standard and that's how they make it here in BC. She said they can give me another slice but it will be made to that same standard or they can refund me the 1 slice. Overall a horrible experience and left completely dissatisfied. Won't be back to this...
Read moreWe used to get really good pizza from this chain when we lived in Toronto a number of years ago. Interestingly this chain has now decided to make a go of it here in the lower mainland.
Sadly, after my visit to this location in Richmond, I'll never return. I ordered a large single topping pizza which had ground beef on it. This is a favorite pizza I like to order.
My first pizza slice was difficult to separate from the other slices, due to it not being caught properly. This resulted in the cheese on topping coming off that particular slice. Taste: As it was after 10:00 p.m, I struggled through four slices of this pizza, I then gave up and left the restaurant. I decided to drive over to the adjacent and A&W restaurant to get a drink of root beer, this helped settle my stomach after I this terrible display of pizza. In some of the pieces of ground beef there was some hard chewy pieces, which should have alerted me and I stopped eating after the first Slice.
The service was good, in addition the washroom was well taken care of.
In the future I'll stick to picing my pizza up at Captains Oven Pizza downtown Vancouver or here in Surrey by the hospital. This is by far the best pizza in the...
