Cheapest Togo Sushi I've ever been to, and I mean that in the negative way. They really skimp out on the ingredients, or at least with unagi they do. I always go to Togo Sushi whenever I'm at the mall with my boyfriend since he loves it, so I'm used to the servings they give at Guildford Mall or Metrotown. This was the first time I've been to this location, so I was surprised when the food came out. I got approximately 1/3 of the unagi I usually get from the other places. By that, I mean they usually give you a generous helping of at least 3 big, meaty pieces of unagi that pretty much cover all the rice underneath but here it looked like they just cut a big piece (or half of one) into 4 thin slices, and there was almost as much skin as there was meat. I bet I could have gotten the same amount of eel by ordering an unagi nigiri instead of a bento. Didn't complain in person because I understand different locations will have their differences but this is the first and last time I'm going to the Richmond Centre location. Just wrote this as a warning to regulars who would be expecting a reasonable amount of unagi but instead get little bits of disappointment. When I go pick up the order, guess what, wrong.... speechless, i asked how come my order is not correct, the lady told me this is what I ordered, then I try to explain to her ... my order was not this, but anyways if is wrong, I still take it, no worry’s. Until she mumble and said I didn’t explain to her the order correctly , I ve been to this place long enough, usually the gentleman who took my order is always right, I don’t understand why you Tell me is my fault, because you guys are the one who gave me the wrong orders. Read moreI have taken thought on what to say, as l believe they are working hard to make a success, but the male proprietor needs work on personal and service skills. My wife was trying to order from the above menu with a trainee girl, it was miscommunication, but she was trying when the male called up a person behind my wife that person came up close and made my wide uncomfortable, the male deminure was obvious he was not happy my wife was taking so long. In the end a order was taken wrong, the male corrected the order with out a smile, the lady proprietor was more gentle in asking my wife which order she wanted. At the end when the food was given l said thank you 3 times loudly because l did not want to leave with giving thanks.
