Hidden gem - parking is not great Had dinner here and it was tasty. Not the cheapest for Cantonese but it’s open til midnight and offers better quality food than most places open after 10pm. Couldn’t find parking at 8pm on a Friday so we parked on the street and walked a block over. Place is tiny but manages to accommodate two large round tables along with the usual two and four top seating. They even have an aquarium for live seafood. Ordered four dishes plus a bucket of rice and the bill came to $125 without tip. We had leftovers from all four dishes for our family of four so we could have gotten three dishes instead. The meal also came with a free melon and pork soup which was really good. Our dishes were the beef brisket & dried bean curd hot pot, shrimp and scrambled eggs, steamed minced pork and Chinese sausage, and deep fried spareribs in spicy salt. The best dish was the shrimp and scrambled eggs. The spareribs were lightly battered compared to other places I’ve been to, my husband enjoyed the hotpot but he thought the steamed minced pork was too similar to the steamed meatballs you get at dimsum. Overall I would come back because the food is good and the hours are convenient. I wouldn’t go often because it’s not cheap but it’s probably $5 more per dish compared to the average for casual Cantonese in Richmond or Vancouver.

Small Chinese restaurant in industrial area I read most of the reviews about this place is good I guess we made incorrect selection of dishes Sweet and sour pork with not crispy and quite tough to chew The golden prawn was so salty 😞 Chicken texture is good but it’s between a bit cold and room temperature Complimentary pumpkin sago dessert is yummy They added chicken in the proper pork belly soup which is nice but I wish they could add more pork belly inside as too yummy The table sitting next to us ordered twice the lamb pot it was super big pot for $58 they told me it’s super tasty must try for next time Another must try dish which I see every other table order is deep fried pork intestine Will definitely come back again to try other famous dishes Parking a bit difficult on a Sunday night take some effort to find street parking ( their parking lot is full) @@@@@@@ Went again after 9 pm they have cheaper menu with small portion This time much better we ordered the right food! Pig intestine was so good crispy and chewy with flavor goes well with pickled radish Mutton pot was big portion and very tasty Chili pepper chicken also nice We ordered over 3 dishes they give us free congee

Oh man where do I start besides the fact the fish was raw and the soup came mid course( please read for full details)? This restaurant used to be at another location by Aberdeen and it was way better. They downgraded which should've been a sign as most Chinese restaurants look for bigger and better locations.

Location: 2/5 Great for the area as not much options however it feels as if you are stuffed liked sardines. There is 1 very tight table in the corner that seats 2 and you basically need to go in on your side. I think even McDonald's on busy day has more room. There is no space to walk and most definitely not kid friendly as that would take all their space.

Service: 1/5

I would give 0 star if it was an option. Our first dish was the fried fish and it was raw in the centre. We told the female server and she suggested to re-heat/steam it. My family said if that's the case we'll just cancel the dish as we didn't come out for food like this. Seafood becomes chewy when you reheat. She argued that they couldn't cancel it or make a new one eventually we cancelled it. I have worked in the service industry for more than a decade and you are REQUIRED to make a new dish as inconvenience.

Food: 2.5/5

We came as a family of 8 and we ordered lobster rice, intestine pepper soup, chicken, fried intestines, and their signature fish dish. Typically Traditional Cantonese style food consists of soup served first before any other dishes. It came out mid course so that was a no no. Their sticky rice was also not sticky and their veggies were very old it didn't have crunch or you really needed to use your teeth for it. The purple rice dessert was so thick we couldn't swallow it. That is everyone's favourite dessert and we all left it unfinished. The only great dish was their chicken and fried intestine hence the 2.5/5 rating.

I would not recommend coming nor would come again as the service was so underwhelming and no customer...
