Harvey's — Restaurant in Saint John

Fast food is fast food, and unless it is really screwed up, most often it is good....if you are a fan of fast food, as I am. What sets Harvey's in Saint John, NB apart is the service. I can't speak to what every day service is as, full disclosure, I have only eaten in this restaurant twice. However, if what we experienced on our visit yesterday is every day service, it is absolutely, 💯 second to none. We had a question around using gift cards on mobile orders. The front counter person and shift manager took time to investigate and offer solutions. We then placed our order and, again, the counter person offered every option with a smile and suggestion, and was incredibly attentive to us while we were their customer. I can't remember another time when I experienced such personal interaction with an employee of a fast food establishment. My only regret is I didn't get their name so I could personally acknowledge this individual. When is the last time you left any fast food restaurant and had a discussion around how great the service was???

I can tell you that a very unfortunate experience we had recently at a local McDonald's was so bad that I emailed the company to share that shift management and training was drastically needed (the on duty managers did not even know the owner's last name!) Imagine my disappointment when the stock response I received said they were sorry I had to wait for my order....not the issue folks! I bring up this terrible experience only to give a true example of worst to first and share that the team we interacted with at Harvey's should be the benchmark for the industry. If you are in the food service industry and have employees of this caliber, thank them, encourage them, pay them their worth to your business and, for God's sake, use these amazing resources to show your new team members how it...

I love Harvey's It's just sucks when you go there (here to Saint John NB Harvey's) and they have such low standards Bathroom dirty (looks like it has been for a while) pee all over seats .. dirty sink and mirror. I was over charged - I bought only a single burger - no meal / drink .. was issued no apology or KINDNESS. The working who finally assembled my burger was like the honey badger of Harverys - 'he didn't give a crap about nothing'.. just slapped the materials on any which way , squished everything ... what a sloppy mess I'm always willing to pay the high price for a good Harvey's burger .. just not here in Saint...

We came to Harvey's while on vacation one night with our 3 kids. Everything was exceptional as far as service. My two year old spilled his drink on the floor and they happily cleaned it up. Also, as I was leaving the supervisor/ manager asked us how our food was and even offered a refill. The reason for the 4 star instead of the 5 is because we wanted to swap fries for onion rings in one of my kids meals and they offered no solution. My 4 year old was upset so we decided to pay the extra $2.50 to get a adult meal. This is likely Harvey's chains fault and not this individual restaurant. A 4 star...
