St. Louis Bar & Grill — Restaurant in Saint John

First time at this location, we arrived at 1210pm for lunch. It was not busy and there was 2 waitress working. We were told to sit ourselves. Then other people started to come in, they all had their orders taken and had received their food before my table and we were there way before them. We ordered a spinach dip and 2 burger meals. It took about 45mins for us to receive our order. Keep in mind we are on our hour lunch. At 1247 we still had not received our order so we went up our waitress and asked for it to go due to our lunch break being over. We still had to wait for our food. We finally received our orders to go at 1258 pm. That's totally unacceptable.... The waitress apologize for the wait, but it was not due to the chef, it was due to poor customer service in our waitress 😑 It was not busy at all especially when we arrived. But their attention seemed to go to the young guys. By the time we were getting ready to leave there might of been 15 people including my table in the restaurant.... Absolutely ridiculous Will definitely not be back to this establishment!!! Now I'm stuck with either eating cold food or throwing it away and in today's world who can afford to just throw money away!!! Not...

Save your money people as their wings and ribs are dry and really subpar for a BBQ spot. I asked for saucey on both and they came very dark and no sauce. The server stated it was under heat lamps and cooks it in 🤣. Okay if this the case everything wouldn't be room temperature. Wife asked server for an other drink 10 min later she comes back and asks is there anything else you need 😂, ummm maybe the drink I asked for. The two women behind us close to the windows left because the server never came back to get their food order just drinks. Lol. Now I know your thoughts are it must have been busy, nope super quiet and 4 servers on. However I am pretty sure our server was high. Would explain a little bit 🤔. The food was decent, but nothing that blew me away at all. A friend and I had the Detroit style pizzas with a pound of wings and fries. The pizzas were alright, but nothing I couldn’t make on a flatbread at home myself, given 5 dollars worth of ingredients. They shouldn’t be marketing these as Detroit style because they really aren’t. Wings were really good, the spicy garlic parm had a nice kick. My buddy had a beer and I had two. For 2 pizza deals with a lb of wings each, 3 beer in total and a pretty average tip, the bill was a little over 100 bucks. Still seems a little steep for what we got, even with the wing promo.

It wasn’t bad, but for the same price there are many higher quality dining options around, therefore I will not be rushing back...
