Tim Hortons — Restaurant in Sault Ste. Marie

I used to go to this location before work for coffee every morning, but not anymore.

1 out of 4 times they get my order wrong (says its 2 milk 2 sugar but never tastes the same) on top of barely ever having everything bagels ready (I would try once at 530 am and again at 3, they would never have any) as well as tea biscuits.

I've gone back to get it straightened out once, but after it keeps happening I just get tired of it, so I stopped going for a few months, just started making coffee at home.

Today was the first day I've been back in months and I ordered a coffee and cheese tea biscuit. The coffee was OK but they gave me a raisin tea biscuit instead.

Instead of the worker giving me another cheese tea biscuit she says they don't have any and I'll have to wait for them to put some on (odd that they didn't have some already on) but I opted for tidbits and a coffee for free for my troubles.

Not only does the lady refuse the coffee but then makes remarks to me about how "I should have checked the bag before I left" as if its my job to check every single time to make sure my order is right.

If I have to check my bag everytime to make sure what I got was correct, then your incompetent at the job and should re-evaluate how you approach your job.

Its actually amazing how often this location screws up an order, and the balls to try and say its my fault for not checking the bag is wild.

0/10, find competent workers, because I will never purchase anything from there again, and to be honest, this may be the last nail in the tim hortons...

Awesome coffee, great variety of specialty drinks, fast service polite staff & the food is pretty good too. Just a quick update, the staff are still incredibly polite and have really stepped up the time it takes to get your order. Their accuracy is also largely increased. They have gotten my orders 100% spot on since I can remember & I'm a daily visitor with a changing order everytime. The food is decent for a coffee shop and the beverages are 2nd to none. The new creamy chills are awesome but I wish they kept the strawberry flavored one. There is also a new chicken sandwich for $1.99 available if you want something different. Tim Horton's also offers the rewards card now too, in which every 7 purchases you get a free beverage. Only downside is the card can only be scanned once every 30min & thats to stop you from buying 1 item at a time and getting multiple scans for every item you ordered. So if you want to take advantage of multiple items ordered and do each purchase separately then just use multiple cards. Time consuming but a great way to get a couple beverages free, so you can use the coffee change you save on one of their...
