Burger Bay - Canadian Sandwich House (100% Halal Restaurant) — Restaurant in Sherwood Park

First time coming here, have been wanting or more so craving a burger for quite sometime so we decided to check this place out as we haven’t yet. We walked in and were greeted right away and seated. I ordered the regular Canadian burger and my spouse got the mushroom Swiss burger with fires and gravy. It didn’t take long for our order to get to our table, I think for the serving size and price it’s good, I didn’t think I would like it as much as I did but it was actually quite good, the Pattie’s aren’t house made but still juicy and a little messy which I like! The buns were really good along with the burger all in all I was impressed. The people serving us which I assume are the owners were extremely friendly. I think it’s a nice addition to the Sherwood park restaurant scene, I’ll go back and try something else eventually. It definitely cured my craving for a good burger with fries...

I had the Krispy Chicken Burger, which I consider a good benchmark since it's easy to compare across different restaurants—and this one absolutely delivered. The chicken was excellent quality: perfectly crispy on the outside, yet juicy and tender on the inside. At first, I thought the onion rings were a bit scarce, but once I finished the burger the onion rings ended up being just right.

The atmosphere was fantastic—laid-back music playing in the background and super comfy seating made it easy to relax and enjoy the meal.

The service was great, too. Our server checked in on us just the right amount and made sure we had everything we needed. Plus, the food came out quickly—our nachos arrived right with our drinks, which was a nice touch.

I’ll start off by saying the owner and staff are some of the nicest, most welcoming people! The restaurant is clean, bright and inviting. Homemade is the best way to describe the food. The burger bun is a really good brioche, the beef bacon is the best I’ve had in a restaurant, the burgers are your typical Costco frozen style patties, onion rings are crunchy and delicious, groceries fresh and crispy, pancakes taste like a generic premix and eggs were cooked perfectly as ordered! Everything tasted exactly as if it were made at home! Their prices are extremely reasonable for what you get.
