My boyfriend and I have been in Stratford for 8 months. While every place we have ventured out to eat has been great in its own way, this place takes the crown. It's a small yet well decorated atmosphere, perfect for a little dinner or lunch. I ordered the spicy salmon roll, miso soup & some salmon sashimi while my boyfriend had the pork belly noodles. We both agreed it was quite literally the best meal we'd had since we got here! The service was phenomenal. Very attentive and kind. The lovely chef/ server did an incredible job and presentation + quality was unmatched. The man who served and cooked for us was so sweet and you could tell he genuinely put great effort into our dishes. If you're looking for sub par food but big misleading ambience, go anywhere else. The prices were very fair and the food left us wanting to make this place our...

The ramen deserves 5 stars (SO delicious) but the service and sushi missed the mark. This place is definitely geared toward take out or a quick lunch, as the seating was an afterthought and the service confusing -we had to order at the counter and tip ahead but our food was brought out to us. The real disappointment was the sushi, which was beautifully presented but the rice was ice cold and hard. It was like getting sushi from the grocery store. We called the day before and made a reservation so when we arrived to find the location was not set up for table service we felt misled. Opt for takeout and stick with the ramen or as others have...

I usually get takeout from here but this time we decided to sit down inside and have a late lunch. To start off, the staff here are very kind and helpful. They gave me great recommendations and now I have new favourites. The food here is very good, the owner had Hamachi and blue fun tune sashimi available, and it was just like when I had it in Japan, they even had the Highball drink, a Japanese staple for izakayas. The atmosphere was great with the true Japanese employees, it was just a little tight. Over all a great spot for Japanese food, will be my go to if I'm craving japanese cuisine...

I was initially hesitant to visit this small Japanese restaurant, but I was absolutely amazed! The customer service is outstanding, the staff, particularly the Japanese ladies, are incredibly approachable and helpful in guiding us through the menu. We ordered the Unagi Bowl and Tofu Bowl, both with the Spicy Ninja Sauce, and we also tried the Spicy Salmon. Everything was incredibly fresh and delicious! I can't wait to come back for more. Highly recommend this hidden gem!
