Read more1 star for the morning shift, 5 stars for the afternoon shift people.
The morning shift staff gave terrible service and food. If I could, I would give 1 star. They seemed kind of lazy. It felt like a McDonald's inside Walmart, where they just call your name and expect you to grab the food yourself. They didn’t care if the food got cold. I ordered a Teen Burger and the cheese was frozen. It eventually became warm after a few minutes, but the cheese was still frozen at first. The burger also had tons of lettuce stem parts and the end pieces of the tomato.
The afternoon shift was completely different. They brought the food to your table without calling your name, greeted you with a smile, and the cheese was perfectly melted. The burger tasted 100% better, with good-quality lettuce and tomato slices.
I'm writing this review because the service and food quality were vastly different between the morning and afternoon shifts, even though I paid the same amount for both meals. I’ll be avoiding this A&W in the morning from now on, but in the afternoon, it's one of the best A&W locations I’ve been to.
As a former fast food worker, it seems like the morning and afternoon shift managers have very different standards for...
Read moreMy complaint involves the number of homeless people who hang about. Right now @2:06, Oct 23, there's a homeless lady in the family washroom who's been in there for over an hour. She came out briefly to retrieve her cell phone which she had plugged in to one of the outlets in the restaurant. My table is near that washroom and have to keep an eye on my things, for fear she'll pop out and take something. Additionally, I noticed the other day that someone had removed the cover from the automatic locking device on the door. What's going on here? May stop coming here if things, like security, do not improve. There needs to be more effort put into keeping your location safe and secure. I feel sorry for homeless people, but they're contaminating the washrooms. I will never use them again, unless something is done to address the problem. Otherwise, I have no other problem with the joint. A little slow, but it's a busy...
