Burger King — Restaurant in Surrey

First of all, I have to make a correction. I put this review in the wrong place. This review is for the Burger King restaurant at 104 ave and King George not for this BK restaurant. I have never been to this restaurant. I tried to cancel this review after I put it here but it was still here. If somebody who knows how to delete it please do so. Also I changed the rating from 1 star for that restaurant to 3 star for this restaurant so that my review will not affect the total rating for this restaurant significantly. I went there last night at about 12am and went to the front door. The door was locked and one of the employees make a closed gesture. But actually the drive through was still open. I was not from that area so I was not familiar with the restaurant and I did not know the drive through was still open. Their employee should have at least pointed to the drive through direction to show me that it was still open but he didn't. I went to the next door McDonald, bought a meal and drove to the Burger King parking lot to eat. While I was eating there I found the Burger King drive through was still open. Then I went to the door again to check if they had the schedule for the drive through on the door and it was not there, which was different from McDonald ( their drive through schedule was on the door). In terms of food, I like more Burger King than McDonald but I don't think their service and management are as good as MacDonald. I was unhappy that night. That BK restaurant lost a customer at least one time and made a loyal customer unhappy. Maybe their night shift employees were scared of being robbed at that late time so that the part in their brain that was in charge of customer service...

On 27th of November 2024 at about 10:30pm I placed an order on uber Eats for Triple whopper meal with Oreo shake from Burger King 660-7488 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC V3W 0H9, it was delivered at 10:46pm sealed , After a very stressful day at work I settled to enjoy my meal only to open it and see it has only one beef patty instead of three, I was surprised and I wondered at first if Burger King ran out of beef patty , because I like ordering my burger triple patty and I do order from this particular restaurant AT LEAST TWO TO THREE TIMES A WEEK. I called the restaurant immediately before even touching the food and I explained to the lady who picked the call , I overheard her calling out to someone and asking about the order, this person said out loud in the background “lies! Lies!! I put three beef patty” and I swear it was just one, it was delivered sealed and untouched so it’s not the driver and I went outside to collect it myself, I felt so bad and I lost my appetite immediately despite been hungry, why would I lie over a beef patty? It’s late already not like anything can be done I just wanted to let them know, This lady in the background shouted out lies! Lies! That i lied over a beef patty, I order this twice to three times every week from this same restaurant, and to even think I selected large meaning I was charged extra, My money, my sweat? I got a whooper combo, extra cokes, and a Strawberry Watermelon Lemonade.

Food was very hot, it was okay (burger tasted very plain) The DRINKS were all spoiled? Melted? Every drink was luke warm, the cokes had no carbonation or taste - I poured out the coke in the sink as it was not drinkable. The strawberry lemonade had ice in it, but it was literally tea that's been slightly cooled off, tasted like nothing but small hints of berry.

The food was in a bag, wrapped with tape (very secure, I liked that) but the drinks were in a flimsy drink tray that was bending so much, that the delivery driver and I almost dropped the drinks multiple times as it was handed to me.

I decided to try this place again, after my first disastrous first order.

Second time I ordered a whooper combo, with fries and a drink (decent price)

The food arrived much worse than my first time ordering. The hamburger was lukewarm, the fries were OLD and STALE (probably sitting there for 10 minutes+ before being packed) and the drink was again, no ice and very warm temperature.

DO NOT order delivery from this place even if you live close, you might receive very old food.

Also - they NEVER EVERY PICK UP THEIR DAMN PHONE. Is it because of all the complaints they're receiving? But I tried calling 5 times and they did not pick up. I even tried calling them on my work phone and still no answer.
