Don’t go to this one. Their promotions are different. They charge for bags, when Burnaby and Richmond don’t.
I’m disappointed that the owner chose not to participate for the official social media monthly offerings.
To me, it is literally 50 cent difference for coconut jelly. If the owner can’t afford that, then maybe franchising isn’t right for him/her.
Also, the drinks are watered down. It taste significantly worse than Burnaby locations.
I edited this review so the original owner response is removed. The owner contradicted him/herself in 2 points.
ONE: The owner’s original response states that the choice to offer “Mango Green Tea” without coconut jelly as the promotion “offers more choices” to users to customize their drink. However, the owner contradicted his/her own point.
Why? Because the November promo includes Large Milk tea with Grass Jelly.
FYI: The milk tea November promo in other locations come with PEARLS, but this owner is smart.
They knew if it’s pearls, they would make significantly less money because pearl milk tea is the most popular choice.
So what did the owner do? He/she intelligently swaps out pearls for grass jelly, and explicitly tells staff that there are no substitution and that they cannot remove grass jelly. How do I know? Because the staff mentioned it immediately to remind customers. This means it had to be trained by the owner.
TWO: The owner graciously linked the City of Surrey website indicating that plastics are banned. However, this chain still serves plastic straws.

WHEN I WERE THERE, THE CASHIER SAID THAT I NEED TO TELL THEM IN ADVANCE IF I WANT TO REDEEM THE POINTS. THE DAY AFTER WHEN I HAVE FOLLOWED WHAT YOUR EMPLOYEE ADVISED ME TO DO AND THE EMPLOYEE SAID THAT I CAN NOT REDEEM. THEY ASKED 2 TIMES "HOW MANY POINTS DO YOU HAVE AND ARE YOU SURE?" THE EMPLOYEE IS TELLING ME DIFFERENT PROCEDURE OF ORDERING IN ADVANCE WITH REDEEMING MY POINTS.. I HAVE ADVISED THEM OVER THE PHONE IN ADVANCE TO LET THEM KNOW IM REDEEMING MY POINTS, AND NOW THEY ARE TELLING ME A DIFFERENT STORY. Read moreDrinks are good. But the customer service is horrible.. it's like they blame the customer for screw ups. We ordered 2 taro bubbleteas. One with sago and one with pearls. She gave us One taro with sago, and the other was a regular milk tea, with both sago and pearls. When we confirmed if this was ours, we said this wasnt what we ordered. She said yes it is. We said well no.. can we please change one. And she said I have to pay... so I have to pay for their screw up? Not very good customer service. How is the customers fault that the cashier didnt hear my order, she shouldve asked to confirm what I said. She also spoke very good english so not sure what the problem was.. ? Bottom line, I didnt bother getting a remake because i was in a hurry so I left with one drink that wasnt what i asked for. Not a happy customer. For reference, this location was inside Guildford Mall. And this happened today, this afternoon. Used to go to Little Tea House in tnt supermarket, and Pearl Fever by tim hortons across the street.
