Stuffies Pastries — Restaurant in Surrey

Used to be a great option for gluten free and vegan (aka dairy free) treats! Now as of Jan 2023 the recipes have changed and all items contain gluten/dairy/eggs. So disappointing.... For those that have a hard time finding treats in these catagories this used to be a great option. It seems odd that in 2023 the change would be moving away from these alternatives.... One of the reasons cited was that the stuffies would get hard after a few hours. But I sort of thought the idea/concept of this place was to have them made fresh? The Guildford location seemed to premake & prepackage everything, even the CroTai would just be reheated. So I think that.this was part of the problem. If they were made to order and served fresh it would be a great treat. And ppl love to watch their things getting made and feel they're getting a fresh product. Overall I'm disappointed with the direction it's going and will have to go elsewhere for...

I went here on Nov 24th Saturday after strolling around Surrey Central mall. This store reminded me of pastry store in subway station in Korea and I think it's owned by Korean as well.

They had variety of Taiyaki (gold fish waffles) with cream and dessert. I've never tried dessert ones with icecream and I was so used to having ones with red beans.

Some items were sold out when I went. I got 2 stuffies($1.40) and Americano (small $2.95) it was good. There wasn't much cream; however I was satisfied with the price of small ones. It was good for a light snack. I found my stuffies too cute to it and sorry I had to eat it, lol. Staff was really nice giving me an extra piece while my order was 2 pieces...

Shopping always tires us or atleast makes us feel need of caffeine. This shop is at the right spot in the mall. Right in front of Shaw shop. Grab a coffee or one of the stuffies while waiting for ur call.

Stuffies has animal shaped pasteries filled with custard of different flavours but mostly vanila and cranberry. Also ice cream stuffed pastry 🥮 All items can be purchased individually $3.00 each or in the pack of 6,8 n maybe more.

Common hot and cold drinks are offered. My caramel chai tea latte was cold. Dont know if tthe foam made it cold or what but I didn’t like it. Overall service is okey. People at the shop can be atleast excited n smilingly taking orders then making...
