Donair Affair — Restaurant in Surrey

I heard from a friend that this place was great, so I tried it. I got the chicken salad platter. It comes with chopped iceberg lettuce, topped with chicken, hot sauce, “garlic sauce” and “tahini”. It also comes with a bit of Greek salad and “hummus”. I have put these items in quotes because I don’t know what they were. They were not as described. The hummus was disgusting and was filled with something other than hummus (maybe runny yogurt). The sauces were terrible, and the Greek salad was mediocre at best. The only saving grace was the chicken, which was pretty good but not enough to change my rating from a one to a two. Sorry, Donair Affair but that’s what you get when you cut corners the way you have. I told my friends about how bad it was and they all said how great it used to be and that those days are long gone. They all agreed it’s now terrible. Service was good...

Thought Id try them again. 07/29/2024... I got through half the donair. There a few very sharp pieces of bone. Rather than adding more to my review I thought Id call. All I got told was they will change suppliers and that its hard for them to seperate the bones from the meat sometimes. What a dissapointment. I have the bone in a bag. That on its way to Donair Affirs head office.

I have to say your food is NOT consistent at all. We ordered a few days ago and it was great. Then we ordered exactly the same things again today (03/27/2024). It was just horrible. Hardly any sauce and a bunch of fatty hard bits in both my wifes donair and and mine. Just yuck!!! You’re only as good as your weakest link. Maybe time to re train...

Well it's my first time ordering hear in a month and I can tell they have all new staff and new owners before this change I ate hear a lot but after today I won't be getting food hear anymore well 1 because of how dry and flavorless the beef chicken and lamb are and the rice is not even moist or damp like how normal rice is supposed to be and the bad part about the rice is that it's all mashed but also burnt and if anyone reads this review listen NEVER ORDER THEIR HUMMUS AND THAT OTHER WHITE SAUCE IS THEY SMOTHER EVERYTHING IN IT. And plus that white sauce is supposed to be creamy and thick it was and liquid this review is one of the worst reviews I have ever written and I repeat that!!! Bye never...
