Yesterday we bought some food from this place. I am posting on behalf of my spouse. This will later be copied to his review. It was by chance I came to know about it cause I was searching for good Middle Eastern restaurant to take my brother and family whoโs coming to visit us after a long time. All the food we ordered was with extra hot sauce to make it more spicy and moist. Now talking about what we ordered and what we got and rating it on a scale of 0 to 10 is as follows: Two Chicken shawarma platter - $17.99 - had a very generous portion of chicken, rice salad and the presentation was really good - 9/10 Two Chicken shawarma wrap super - $13.99 - compared to most other reviews saying it was dry for me it was moist and the main reason being I requested for one side of the pita spread with hummus, it was of good size and filling - 9/10 One Beef shawarma wrap regular - $13.99 - the beef was really dark and moist compared to most other place, we could feel the difference between the 2 sizes, good but we have had better - 8/10 Falafel with turnip pickles - $0.95 per piece - ordered 8 but got 9 - The best falafel and turnip pickle we have had in NorthAmerica - 10/10 Baklava (with pistachio) - $1.75 - My daughter and I loved it,my spouse was never a fan of baklava so he didnโt try it. I would give it a rating of 9/10 Fries - small serving - $4.99 - we never got it, could be because the team was busy and serving everyone with a smile those kind of things happen, supposedly most other reviewers liked their fries - because I did get it the rating would be 0/10 Please note if you are planning for the wrap ask for a spread of hummus on inside of the wrap. Seating space is very minimal and can seat only 12 people maximum. If you have a small family of 4 or less any Indian or Arabic restaurant should be enjoyed as dine in. One drawback I found is they do not serve tabbouleh, which was kind of a bummer cause most of the platters should have a small serving of tabbouleh, along side the green salad. Also could ask if the customer would like some olives on the salad and hummus. Everything was served fresh and I surely will recommend it to anyone who like Arabic food. All the very best to Ahmed and his team, we will surely come back. Please try and keep small quantities of Tabbouleh for customers who...
ย ย ย Read moreI ordered the Arabic Chicken Wrap here to-go and wow I was blown away by how fresh and delicious it was. ๐
I can honestly say this is the closest tasting shawarma to what I've had when I used to live in Doha Qatar as a kid.
One of the few places in the Lower Mainland that actually puts fries inside their wraps...the fact that it was also rolled perfectly tight with 0 mess while I was eating from start to finish shows the quality they put in preparing this wrap.
The ratio of the garlic sauce, the chicken, the pickles and fries came together in perfect harmony. The wrap they use was also very good, not too thin and not too thick. The ingredients were simple, but sometimes simplicity is what you need to really taste the quality of the cooking and this place nailed it. ๐
I highly recommend this place if you used to live in the middle east and craving authentic...
ย ย ย Read more, I came here to take some food for my family. so I did order Ooh La La family plate , the guy on the cashier said they donโt have the chicken tikka so what would I like to have instead, meat tikka or ground beef, I told him I would like to have another Lamb shank instead, he said of course. After I paid with tip and he got in the kitchen He came back to me and asked me to choose something else , and when I asked why he said because the lamb shank is more expensive than the chicken tikka. Well, I worked in a restaurant at some point of my life and when we had such a situation we would compensate the customer, not acting like this
the prices already overpriced and I find that I will not get what I want so I canceled my order and will not go back there , they need to work better on customer service
And to be fair, the place is clean and...
