We have have frequented this location at least twice a month over the last 6 years. It was excellent, everything from taste to portion sizes. There was an ownership change about 2 years ago, right before Covid and things started to change.

Some changes were good: ambience and cleanliness was improved. Staff seemed more friendly.

We just ate there again yesterday and noticed some changes that were not so good. Menu prices have gone up (that’s understandable) and portion sizes have decreased dramatically. (That I don’t get - you already raised the prices plus, it’s noodles!)

We always order the house special (large). I’m not sure, but I think the bowl is smaller now too? What I’m sure about is that there is less vermicelli, less meat, and less rice (we usually order a side of large rice).

We also order salad rolls with peanut sauce. Even these rolls were waaaay smaller than before, we are talking almost 1/3 of the vermicelli missing in the roll. Again, I’m puzzled - it’s noodles - that’s probably the lowest priced item where food cost is concerned.

I’m not saying that we will stop going, but let’s just say we are now looking for another...

If I could change my previous 5 star review to a quarter or no star at all, that is exactly what I would be doing.

Honestly so disappointed. I had been coming here for the past ten and a half years; and what used to be my favourite spot has not only slowly declined in quality but it has avalanched out of control.

What their staff is now classifying as “fatty brisket” is completely inedible silver skin. I would know this as both my partner and I work in the food service/meat industry. You can’t even get your teeth through it and quite frankly I wouldn’t even consider feeding it to a dog.

On a second note, upon arrival of the fried wontons, after taking one bite, we quickly realized that the entire inside is raw pork, Which is 100% a food quality and safety/health issue for any of their patrons.

I had been looking forward to my meal with my husband at this location for over a month as we are moving out of town, because this was always a family favourite. And now we have left with empty bellies, food poisoning, and a bad taste in our mouth for our final night in town. Absolutely...

My friends and I went to this pho yesterday and when we went to pay separately for our food around 8pm, the guy who was on the cashier had the audacity to cancel my transaction and said “give 10% tip pls” in the most RUDEST way. First of all, you get tips if you actually came back to the table and asked if our food was okay or a simple refill of water or something. No one in the restaurant did that. They gave our food and left and never came back. That to me doesn’t say give them tips. The fact that the guy was eyeing if I would give a tip and cancelling my transaction right away was very rude. I have been going to that pho for years and I thought their staffing changed and maybe management. But honestly, the staff needs to go through another customer service training because last night wasn’t it. I have never been someone who wouldn’t give a tip unless they deserve it. The guy at the cashier definitely did not deserve it. Very...

I ordered the steak and fatty brisket phò and I must say, this place serves a comforting bowl of beef noodle soup. The broth was tasty with a generous amount of fresh vegetables on the side, it was perfect for the cold weather. The fried rolls were a good compliment to it, just make sure to dip it in their vinegar sauce and chili sauce for that extra yum. The hubby ordered the lemongrass pork and vermicelli bowl and it was flavourful too. Serving portions can be good for sharing. Also had a freshly blended avocado shake to go. Overall, it was a good lunch.

Clean modern interior. Wish they had more uncommon foods on the menu but there's a ok selection of desserts. The pho and bun Bo hue broths had some flavour, but no depth at all. It seemed they try to make up for this by adding LOADS of salt. The plus side to the pho is that there's very little oil, but again it probably affects the flavor. One of the servers was excellent — checked up on us, refilled our waters, and offered to bring a small bowl when he noticed I was eating out of a teacup. That is plenty for a Viet restaurant.
