A&W Canada — Restaurant in Toronto

I had one of the worst and most humiliating experiences ever at the A&W on 1021 Avenue Road. An employee named Harsh behaved in an unbelievably rude and aggressive manner toward me. The way she spoke — her tone, her attitude, and complete lack of respect — was shocking and completely uncalled for.

I went there expecting a simple, friendly service like any other customer, but instead, I was spoken to harshly, treated rudely, and made to feel small and embarrassed in front of others. It honestly turned into a very unpleasant and almost violent situation, and I was left feeling disrespected and deeply uncomfortable.

No customer deserves to be treated that way, ever. Someone with such an attitude should not be working in a public-facing role, especially in a place like A&W where respect and courtesy are supposed to come first.

This entire experience was pathetic, insulting, and completely unacceptable. I truly hope the management looks into this matter seriously, because no one should have to face this kind of treatment just for trying to...

While this is generally a pretty clean location compared to others...users beware if using the mobile app to place an order. I placed an order for pickup, walked over to the restaurant only to be told "we don't have any" of the item I ordered. The app will allow you to add the item to the cart and pay for it even if the location can't fulfill the order. Crazy right? There is also no way to get a refund thru the app... For this experience alone, I would leave it at 1-star as it is not acceptable to get to a restaurant to pick up an order only to be told then we cant make your order. Or be offered a refund on the spot - maybe its not possible if ordered thru the app? Management seriously needs to look at this issue. Will be filing a dispute on the transaction thru my credit card company. Previous experiences at location were OK, so it's a 3-star...

A&W attached to a gas station. Standard menu and staff were efficient although it took a little time to have my order understood. The food was to the high quality I expected. There was seating inside, however, I was a little disappointed that the tables were not cleaned down. One had some split drink on the surface the other needed cleaning after the patrons left. Admittedly, there was a steady stream of customers so the staff were busy. The washrooms are part of the gas station and were okay, yet, looked like the trash can needed to be emptied, a swift sweep of the floor and there were a few fruit flies in the stall. The gas station may be understaffed as it appeared to be busy. ...
