I really don't like to give bad reviews to businesses but this time I have to say something about this location. Every time I go there, there is always a problem with my order: service being very slow, order not fully completed. I always order the beyond meat burger, asking for extra cheese that they charge a dollar (which is pretty expensive) and it has been 3 times they don't put it in my burger. It also not the cleanest location unfortunately.

Last night I decided to give this location one more chance. Ordered my food on the spot and walked back home. I wanted to warm the burger up a bit, so I open it to put the lettuce and tomato on the side before putting the burger in the oven. And I found, between the onions, a plastic bag tie!

I had to call them to explain the situation and walk back to the location to have my burger exchanged. They apologized on the phone and offered me extra fries but I felt like they did not take this situation seriously. They did not even checked the burger (they threw it straight in the garbage), they were chatting and trying to joke around. For them to apologized face to face, I had to tell them to be way more careful because it could have been dangerous for me if I had swallowed or melted that piece of plastic.

We are humans, mistakes happen but they definitively lost me as a customer. I feel like the employees there are not well trained. I really hope this review will be seen by someone who actually care so it does not happen to...

This location is open late and it's convenient for late night eats.. typical burger and fries or onion rings.. nothing special. The quality isn't the best at this location. In fact, the patties are made really thin and sad. Reminds me of McD's patty: paper thin. And the fries taste like curry here?!?! What's that about?? It's not the first time we notice this either! Which means (the staff) is frying their own foods in the machines??? Cause A&W does NOT sell curry flavored items.. so this location is a little SUS to say the least. I don't know if it's something that just happens at night time but this is the only time that we go eat there (when we're out late) and every time our fries and our onion rings taste like Curry, so I really don't know if someone in the night staff/shift is frying or heating up their food with the rest of the A&W food items and it's just making everything taste like Curry. It's something that needs to be addressed because it's been more than one occasion this happens, and regardless it shouldn't be happening!! Don't come fry your food and contaminate the oils that the company food needs to be cooked in and served to people. Unacceptable! Mostly during the times we live in. Come on! But this location is near my residence and it's basically the only thing that's walking distance and opened at 3am. Other locations are far better and that is all I have to...

If I could give zero stars I would.

Tonight alone is just the tip of the iceberg in regard to the horrible service and food I've received from this ONLY location in particular. I've been to many A&Ws throughout the province. I've never been treated so poorly in any food service restaurant and I've never received such poor service.

It is convenient for me because it is open 24H. I went there to pick up a snack for work since I work early in the morning. The "girl" behind the counter was very disrespectful, defensive and rude during the ordering and whole process all together. Once my order was prepared 20 minutes later, she proceeded to throw my food at me, literally throw my to go bag at me and tip toe to the back with no smile and all attitude. She was very defensive from the moment I placed my order. Considering I work in the hospitality industry for upwards of ten years, she/they have absolutely no comprehension of how to serve and respect customers. My onion rings were a pile of soggy crumbs and i received unnecessary, aggressive attitude on top of it.

You're better off going to pizza pizza across the street. That doesn't say much, but at least you'll be treated with respect and dignity.

This was the second time that an order came to me without the proper ingredients. I had ordered a Beyond, but it came with white onions instead of red onions and since I ordered through DoorDash, it didn’t allow me to edit/personalize the instruction. The first time also it was the same issue with white onions, but I thought it would have been a mistake and I am allergic to white onions, it was good that I spotted it the first time and threw the burger. But this time, I didn’t check and the white onions weren’t visible also, so I ate about half and then realized after eating(also the quantity of the onion was less and it was not evenly spread) and as soon as I ate, the cough started. I was lucky enough since I just ate a little. And the worst part is that this location especially at the night time plus any order for a delivery, the staff doesn’t find it necessary to atleast inform the customer if something is missing or out of stock. Or maybe the staff person made a mistake adding the wrong ingredient. So, hopefully pray that they don’t do the same mistake again.

I expect a prompt response and resolution to this issue. To other customers: Please double-check everything and be cautious — this kind of oversight should not be happening, especially from a platform like Uber.

I had ordered a Beyond, but it came with white onions instead of red onions and since I ordered through DoorDash, it didn’t allow me to edit/personalize the instruction. The first time also it was the same issue with white onions, but I thought it would have been a mistake and I am allergic to white onions, it was good that I spotted it the first time and threw the burger. But this time, I didn’t check and the white onions weren’t visible also, so I ate about half and then realized after eating(also the quantity of the onion was less and it was not evenly spread) and as soon as I ate, the cough started. I was lucky enough since I just ate a little. And the worst part is that this location especially at the night time plus any order for a delivery, the staff doesn’t find it necessary to atleast inform the customer if something is missing or out of stock. However, what I received was completely incorrect and makes me seriously question the level of attention and care your team puts into handling customer requests. This is not just a minor mistake — the entire order was wrong, and it feels like no one took the time to review or verify what was being sent out. I trusted your service and was left frustrated, inconvenienced, and without the items I paid for. This is completely unacceptable, and I am requesting a full refund for the entire order.
