Had an unbelievably terrible experience. We often go here but the previous time made it to be the last time we step a foot in this restaurant. When the server chloe finally made her way to our table we put in the order for everything. She takes her time to bring our drinks and she obviously brings us the wrong drinks and takes even longer to bring our right order. Then the food takes forever to come and the whole time we were eating she was no where to Be found. We finish our food and finally wave her down after 20 minutes of trying to get a workers attention. We order cheesecakes and somehow that took almost an hour to get to our table. We were very frustrated when it didn’t come out the first 30 mins so we get the manager to cancel the order and just bring the bills. Then after 15 minutes the food runner brings the cheesecakes over and says we can have the in the meantime we wait for our bills. As we are halfway done the server comes after 40 minutes of not being anywhere to be seen and takes the half eaten cheesecake off the table and says you can’t have this if you’re not paying for it. At that point it made me realize how terrible of a person the server was because that was the least she could’ve done to compensate for the fact that she made us waste 2 hours for absolutely no reason. And don’t even get me started on nataya the manager that as we are explaining the situation to her she not once apologized and kept repeating there has been a miscommunication. I just want to know how little decency can you have to take away a cheesecake that was brought to our table and taken away twice as we were still eating it and not even comp it as a sign of respect and apology for the disrespect and waste of time...
Read moreI lived in the area for almost 20 years I went there last night for the third time in 19 years. I’ve witness the growth and degradation of this establishment since the beginning.
Understood that the heart of midtown Scarborough of all places is not the easiest place to run a restaurant. However, it should be no excuse that if I, a paying customer, go into your restaurant establishment or any restaurant establishment for that matter, wait to get seated, order the walk in wings special, eat half a celery stick before I get a phone call that requires me to leave immediately, pay for my meal in full and tip %20 for the excellent service from my waitress, I , a regular paying customer, SHOULD NOT get grief or resistance from the MANAGEMENT of the establishment when asking to take the rest of my food to-go.
I get it, certain restaurants have in-house rules and regulations for reasons beyond the public’s understanding. HOWEVER, the day I walk into a restaurant as a paying customer, order my food, pay for my meal and get told that I am not allowed to take the food I just paid for to go, THAT is the day I stop going to restaurants completely.
At the end of the day, it is what it is. A restaurant sells food. Customers buy food. Don’t make things complicated, oversimplified, and just overall illogical and plain stupid.
Please fix-up for the sake of the owners interests and for the interests of your patrons. I refuse to come back...
Read moreWent with my Daughter today for a lunch, I kid you not, there was no one in the restaurant which kinda made me not feel welcome, I'm talking about customers. There was a few workers, we had the choice of any seat hahah Anyways shortly after sitting down we seen another group come in so at least that created some ambient noise. Anyways my Daughter likes the chicken bites, not sure why but oh well. I decided to give them a try and got myself a 1 serving of wings. First and foremost the variety of flavors is ridiculous! No restaurant needs to offer that many, that shows me right away they don't specialize.. Anyways I asked for a what seemed to be something I normally have from my local supported very awesome wing spot, I asked the server to please provide me with all flats but that was shot down quickly... Anyways rather rambling on, let's just say with no one being the restaurant on a Sunday noon and with the food that was provided to me, I'll never buy there again. Big time dissatisfied in both food, portion and service considering they should probably try a lot more to get customers in. I'll stick to a real wing diner. The Wing Spot Malvern is where you wanna go get wings.. sorry Allstars, your at the bottom of the wing bucket for me, that's that's bellow Wildwing ! I honestly prefer our compliments frozen wings in a box cooked at home over what was presented to me today!
