Burger King — Restaurant in Toronto

My parents went to Bk on Sunday Oct 20th 2024 & purchased 4 meals for my family & I to have for dinner. When the food was brought home everyone’s noted that the fries weren’t fresh ( discoloured, lukewarm & hard). I opened my burger to put my extra mayo onto the spicy crispy chicken sandwich & the meat looked like a hamburger, as I took more topping off the burger it was indeed chicken BUT the chicken had been out for a LONG amount of time & was hard, dark &dried out. I got into my car & went back down to bk to let them know what had taken place. The man at the counter said that everything was made fresh so he isn’t sure what happened to my order, told me that he couldn’t provide me with a refund for ONE meal because all the other meals didn’t need a refund, that he couldn’t remake a spicy crispy sandwich because the inventory would go low. Once I asked for a refund AGAIN he said he’ll speak to his manager. He returned said he could make it spicy & that it would take 6-7 minutes to make the chicken patty. I waited. My food was shoved through my partly cracked window, he walked off & slammed the door. When I returned home I checked my food ONLY to find expired mayonnaise was put on the bottom of my burger but NOT at the top. I have called the location numerous of times to no avail. I won’t be going back to bk ever again after this...

A nice place to get nice food. Like the ice cream very much. Burger King is my go-to destination for a late-night burger fix after a long day at work. With its convenient location and mouthwatering menu, it's the perfect stop to satisfy my hunger while walking home.

Was excited to go and try out this new location. I wouldn’t be so hard on them, except my experience is a growing theme with BK.

Last night I ordered the crispy chicken meal. The piece of crispy chicken I received must have been in the warmer for quite some time. It had shrunk to half the size and was extremely rubbery. I had two bites and then tossed it out.

Burger King, I understand you precook food so it is readily available like most fast food places do, but your food can only be held for so long before it is no longer good to serve. The crispy chicken is only good fresh, so holding it anymore than like 10 mins in the warmer is probably not a good thing.

I’ve learned (and should’ve gone with my gut), that you should always check your food before driving away. I normally do, just wish I had last night.
