A nice Italian style coffee bar! I came with friends and ordered an oat milk latte. They have both cups and glasses so if you have a preference they can do it. My coffee was very good. They had some great looking oat jam squares and other pastries. The guys who run it are very friendly. They accidentally brought an extra caffe latte to our table and kindly poured it into a takeout cup so we could take it home, no charge.

Espresso at this place is probably my favorite so far in downtown Toronto. I usually don't order espresso in the city due to the dull taste and high prices, so I was pleasantly surprised to find a good one here! The place has a warm and cozy ambiance. The staff is friendly as well. I'll definitely visit again to enjoy their espresso and try other items on the menu.

The hidden rule of coffee shop ratings is that the atmosphere gets ruined if a shop gets too popular, so smart reviewers know never to review their regular spots. Iā€™m not smart, so I pretend to slink in at off hours like thatā€™s a sane normal person thing to do (todayā€™s ice latte: strong! higher espresso to milk ratio than i usually get. GOOD espresso)

Espresso at this place is probably my favorite so far in downtown Toronto. Lovely coffee shop!

I stumbled upon this cafe on my way home from work and I think Iā€™ve found a new favourite!

Itā€™s bright, modern yet homey; a perfect place to enjoy reading a book while I drink matcha and eat a croissant ā˜ŗļø

The owner, Francesco was extremely welcoming towards me and my friends upon entering! He was enthusiastic about the menu and proud to support local businesses on his shelves

I will definitely be a returning customer šŸ˜‹ looking forward to trying the other items...

Annex Espresso Bar is my new favourite place! I counted down the days for when it would open back in March and I can say I've been there every week since. The coffee and pastries are amazing!! The friendliness of Francesco, the owner, and his family who supports him are second to none! New cafe in the neighbourhood, the interior was well thought out to create a space where people can feel relaxed and enjoy their coffee. I had an oat latte that was naturally sweet from the milk and had hints of cocoa elements from the beans. The owner mentioned that he has previously worked in other high-end coffee shops in the city, and they envisioned having a space of their own. Will return in the future to try out other baked...
