Oh bamboo buddah, you bamboozled your food! Honestly, this would be a 5/5 Chinese food restaurant, but there is next to no protein in any of the dishes. The chicken balls probably have less than 5g of chicken, and the rest is batter. Same goes for the fried food like general tso's chicken and sweet and sour pork. I would so nearly 50% of the pieces don't even have chicken/pork. The shrimp low mein has probably 10 pieces for a 2lb dish. With that said, the batter is delicious and the texture is all there. The staff were friendly too. Just put more protein in and your review ratings would sky rocket!

If you are looking for classic North-Americanized Chinese takeout (with a couple traditional dishes thrown into the menu mix) and you live downtown, then this is the place. Reasonable prices, the typical overflowing takeout container full of chop suey, chicken balls, sweet and sour sauce and fried rice (with actual egg, a rarity with similar style restaurants, I find) and bonus- hot and sour soup and spring roll. I wish they had egg rolls rather than spring rolls, but hey, for the price, I can't complain. I would like to add that the staff are super friendly. Note: closed on Tuesdays.

Plz don't go here. went here for years now they give u no meat. Got the chop suey chicken it was filled to the top with brussel sprouts an a few small peices of chicken quality is at it's lowest. They are literally trying to scramble for every little penny they can. DO NOT EAT HERE I PROMISE YOU WILL REGRET IT check the picture

DO NOT ORDER HERE. They are rude when they are late and then cancel your order after more than 2 hours of waiting when you ask for a discount. This is easily the worst customer service I have ever received from a restaurant. Waited 2 hours for my food to be delivered. They told me that the person they delivered it to said they didn’t order. I told them that they were at the incorrect unit/building and was talked back to in an unprofessional and rude way as they were insisting they were right (clearly not). 20 minutes goes by and I still haven’t received my food to find out they were at the wrong building. I ask for a discount and they said they couldn’t because it was already processed on my credit card but If I paid in cash I would have. I persisted to get some sort of compensation and then they end up CANCELLING THE ORDER because “we were threatening to not pay” even though the food was already processed on my card. The customer service is just incompetent. Save yourself the hassle. This is my only ever review on a restaurant but they infuriated me so...

This used to be my go-to for Chinese-Canadian fare, but after being burned twice by their poor delivery and customer service, I had to write them off. The first time, we ordered dinner at 7pm. At 8pm, I followed up and was told they were really busy and the driver had just left. We waited another 30 minutes and followed up again. Again I was told it had just left and would be there any minute. By 9PM, I called and was given the run around about whether or not they had even prepared my food. I didn't even get an apology for the total mess up. The second time was about a year later. How could they mess it up again? Spectacularly, actually. It was de ja-vu all over again. Followed up after an hour and again as told it was on it's way. We had to leave in an hour, and waited another 30 min before calling again. When we got the same BS, we cancelled the order. As before, we didn't even get an apology. We had our jackets on to leave when the driver showed up and told us we owed them money for the 2 hour late...

Need some quick chinese food and it's the closest place that allow walk-in takeout. Got myself some wonton noodle soup and General Tso chicken.

Generally all the options seem to mix between western style and Hong Kong style. The popularity of the dishes does make the menu similar to most other restaurants. Large variety of on the menu with a small assortment of combinations.

Though I ordered two items, I found it to be very filling. In hindsight if I chose a combo for 1, I would probably get two meals for the price of one. The General Tso was really savoury especially served with the fried rice. The fried chicken chunks were positively great. Felt crisp and tasted like they were tossed in a wok with the sauce. The wonton noodle soup held up great in transit that the noodles maintained a good bite after a long ride. Though the steam did turn the bag into a moist enclosure after so long, both items were still either hot or warm.

Would return for more unless I can find a closer...
