This place is the absolute worst. The security staff do absolutely nothing to protect the safety of women even though they rely on attractive women bringing in business to drive their bottom line. My friend came home from a night out at 44 where they even had a booth, covered in bruises after being thrown out of the club in the middle of the night while she was vomiting by bouncers. This isn’t the first report of violent and inappropriate behaviour perpetrated by the staff at 44, it’s evident that nothing is being done to rectify this ongoing issue on an organizational level. Any well-trained security staff would know to call a medic instead of inflicting violence against a woman who is experiencing alcohol poisoning at their establishment and causing bodily harm. I’ve seen other clubs handle situations like this much more ethically, ensuring that the well-being and safety of their guests is of the highest priority. For example, at Rebel if someone is showing signs of alcohol poisoning, they are given proper care. It’s obvious that all this club cares about is making money and creating a false sense of scarcity around their establishment. You are running a nightclub, this should not be something your staff is not trained to handle. Instead they physically threw her outside. Does your staff have any idea of how dangerous that is? A person vomiting can aspirate and choke to death. A woman who in that state is so much more vulnerable to physical and sexual violence. Is that a liability you’re willing to take on by continuing to allow inappropriate behaviour by your staff? Sadly this isn’t even the first time I’ve experienced such an unprofessional and unsafe environment at 44. I would never recommend anyone go here unless you want to spend your hard earned money to be treated like a piece of sht. I truly hope the management at this club get their sht together because they aren’t even doing the bare minimum of their obligations to...

If I could give this club lower than 1 star I would. So we payed $8000 for a booth and bottles for my friends birthday. They made us wait outside for nearly TWO HOURS as they filled other booths. A completely disorganized mess. On top of that, the bouncers were incredibly rude and unprofessional.

Finally they let us in, and even though we payed for the biggest booth in the club, they bring us to the smallest booth in the corner. And as we tried to fit our group on the platform because the booth was so small we couldn't all fit on the floor, the ceiling was so low half of us had to hunch over the entire night.

So we end up getting in the club at about 1AM (it closes at 3) and they don't even bring us our bottles for about another 45 minutes. What a joke. At this point there's only an hour left to drink the massive amount of alcohol we had payed for.

As for the club itself, it's horrible. Probably the worst club I have ever been to in my life. It is the size of a shoebox, the overdone flashing lights could literally cause a seizure, it's completely packed with no room to move, the DJ was absolutely AWFUL. The crowd is extremely confrontational and straight up creeps walk through the crowd trying to grab girls from behind even if they're with another group. The staff was rude and the service was slow.
