If you're craving authentic Vietnamese cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute must-visit! My family and I had the pleasure of trying three classic dishes: Bún Bò Huế, Phở Bò, and Bún Chả, and every bite was a delightful journey through the vibrant flavors of Vietnam. By the way my partner and brother are in law are both Vietnamese. The Bún Bò Huế was a standout – the broth was rich, aromatic, and perfectly spiced, with just the right balance of savory and tangy notes. The generous portions of beef and bun noodles made it incredibly satisfying. The Phở Bò Saigon style was equally impressive, with a clear, deeply flavorful broth that showcased the skill and tradition behind its preparation. The tender beef and fresh herbs elevated it to perfection. As for the Bún Chả, it was a true explosion of flavors! The grilled pork was smoky and succulent, the noodles were fresh, and the accompanying dipping sauce tied everything together beautifully. We also had traditional Vietnamese drip coffee cafe fin and delicious mango smoothie. The restaurant's ambiance was warm and welcoming, and the staff were friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a place that serves authentic Vietnamese food with heart and soul, look no further. We'll definitely be back! Cam on! Thank you so much! Chuc mung nam moi! Happy New Year!

We have ordered from here multiple times now for takeout and it has never failed to satisfy that authentic Vietnamese food craving! The price is very reasonable for the portion size. The ingredients are always super fresh and the staff are extremely friendly and helpful! Feels very home style and not at all run of the mill Viet place. You can tell they pay attention to the details in their food from ingredients to their broth and their overall preparation. This time we tried: the special pho (201) - very fresh and tender rare beef and a much more home made style beef ball and tender brisket with a good piece of tendon! chicken and bamboo vermicelli soup (316) - very flavourful but light broth, generous amount of chicken and bamboo shoots are both savory, sweet and sour really elevating the dish. Also not always easy to find with good bamboo shoots like this one. ban xeo (111) - was very crispy even after takeout and had great coconut flavour which is better than many other establishments. It is also a rare find especially downtown. We will definitely be coming back here very often! And will try to eat in next time as well.

Ordered take out and it was extremely disappointing, borderline inedible. They did not follow instructions, we only asked for one modification: no blood in the beef pho. The take out portions are quite small. The veggie pho was inedible, there were a couple of pieces of vegetables, no tofu. The broth was especially disappointing as it was just a veggie broth cube broken down in water. Other restaurants offer either a much better veggie broth or a chicken broth to come with their veggie pho, this place did not. The fresh rolls came poorly wrapped and ripped on the sides. The deep fried pork rolls also were poorly made and the accompanying sauce was just oil. Not recommending this place to anyone and not coming back.

The food itself was great - super flavourful Phở Bò and Bún Bò Huế. The fried pork spring rolls were also the best I've had in Toronto! Unfortunately, a couple things with the experience completely turned me off and I probably wouldn't return because of them.

1 - The bathroom had no soap. It wasn't just empty, the soap dispenser had been ripped off the wall and there was no temporary bottle or anything. When I asked the server about it, she shrugged it off and said the owner simply had not ordered any for a few weeks...

2 - Another patron started smoking in the vestibule between restaurant and outside, causing some fumes to come into the restaurant. This is illegal, and sooo disrespectful, especially as I am 8 months pregnant and was sitting right by the door. The staff did nothing to stop him from doing this.

Health and safety infractions aside, the food was great. Really hope they clean up their act (literally) because I'd want to go back to try other items, especially the Bún Chả (a personal favourite!) if it didn't feel...
