Burger King — Restaurant in Toronto

I came here yesterday with my friends while we were coming back from Anime North that was taking place right beside this building. Obviously the place was packed with people, but this is expected during a big event like this. There was a malfunction going on in the area since the kiosks and credit card readers did not work meaning that only people with physical cash could be served at that time (Even when I was at Anime North beside this building, a lot of credit card readers did not work at the event. So this malfunction was not Burger King's fault. This seems like something that was effecting everyone in the area at the time).

The reason I'm giving this specific Burger King place a perfect review is because not only were the staff and manager extremely prepared, professional, friendly to the customers, and understanding of the whole situation of what was happening with the digital payments, but my food was prepared very quickly and carefully in only a matter of a few minutes. And the reason I was shocked at the speed of things was because I had to order 4 different meal combos for my friends since they couldn't pay at the time due to the digital payment malfunction. Plus, there were already so many people in the building ordering at the time. I thought maybe at first the food was undercooked because of how short the wait was. But no, the food was perfect and none of my friends got sick. I'm honestly still surprised at how perfectly this all went for both my friends and the people working there at the time.

I hope all the employees working that day and shift got payed extra because they absolutely deserve it. I wish more fast food places had this level of professionalism, kindness, and service. I will 100% be coming back here to eat with my friends the next time we come back from Anime North....

This Burger King was the worst I have ever been to. I went to the BK to grab breakfast before work because the Tim Hortons was closed and the drive thru Tim's was packed. Feeling like I didn't want to wait a half hour for my food that I should make the decision for Burger King. I looked in. There were 2 people waiting for their food and 2 waiting to order, with a few people scattered in seats already eating. Seemed like a good choice. I ordered the 2 breakfast sandwiches for $6, I had to repeat myself 3 times for her to get the order correctly. One on a croissant one on an English muffin. Then I stood back and waited. And waited. And as I waited I watched and looked around. Realizing it was the district manager at the cash who wasn't listening to people's orders and just saying anything back to them after they said what they wanted. Everyone after me had to say their order at least twice. I noticed the uncleanliness of the restaurant area and then in the kitchen. I was starting to feel uncomfortable with eating here but had no time to waste and was starving. Finally, after waiting 25 min my food was handed to me. I quickly dove into a sandwich. The croissant, it was dry and compact and had the texture of a bun rather than a croissant. It wasn't flaky or buttery at all but still somehow managed to be greasy. The second sandwich was greasy as well and not very tasteful. It was bland and boring. The bacon didn't even really stand out as having a flavor. So disappointed and I will never be visiting this location again. I will never eat breakfast at ANY Burger King...

I had a Burger King survey coupon that I presented. The Filipino cashier asked me if I actually DID they survey? I said what do you mean? how other way would I get a free Whopper? Very condescending. If she does not like Burger King policies and Survey methods that were made by Executives and CEOs of Burger King, she should call them and show her dislike for the coupons instead of giving the customers a hard time about it. Secondly, I've been to this Burger King several occasions and the staff in the back have no consideration for the guests they are loud, having private conversations and laughing about it as if they are at a house party. I heard them arguing over work issues. One time, an Indian girl who was working there was on her cell phone leaving her shift, with her coat on, she put her dirty backpack on the counter where customers are served their food trays and having a private conversation loudly back and forth with one of the other Indian girls that worked there. The staff in the back were loud and laughing. Very low class environment with no consideration for their customers. This manager needs to be fired or reminded about staff...
