Absolutely Amazing Every Time – 5 Stars, No Question!

Burrito Queen has quickly become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving something fresh, flavorful, and super satisfying. I’ve been here multiple times, and every single visit has been a great experience from start to finish.

My usual order includes a grilled chicken burrito or a braised beef quesadilla, and both are always packed with flavor. The burritos are loaded with generous portions of rice, beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, and so many fresh toppings. Their burrito red sauce adds the perfect kick, and the hot sauce really brings everything together if you’re into spice.

The quesadillas are crispy on the outside and cheesy on the inside, and the shrimp one is a personal favorite—juicy, well-seasoned, and made fresh to order. Everything always comes out hot and delicious. You can really tell they don’t cut corners on quality.

I’ve also tried their poutine—super cheesy and satisfying, perfect as a side or even on its own. Their onion rings are crispy and golden, and the portion sizes for everything are generous. You get your money’s worth, no doubt about it.

The menu has tons of variety—burritos, tacos, quesadillas, nachos, wings, salads, and more—so there’s always something new to try. Plus, the staff is always polite and welcoming, and the service is quick even when it’s busy.

Whether you’re grabbing a quick lunch or sitting down with friends, Burrito Queen never disappoints. It’s rare to find a place where the food is this consistently good and affordable.

I stopped by to pick up something quick for me and my wife. I noticed the customer before me order something with fried egg on it and asked him was it good. So I ordered myself a burrito and for my wife a bowl that was supposed to be a beef, bacon and egg bowl. The first red flag was the young lady working there had earphones in her ear and talking to her boyfriend the whole time and was taking forever. 2nd they were out of bacon. 3rd I asked for fresh lettuce because what she was putting in the bowl was brown, she lied and said it was freshly cut, 4th I watched her search for eggs in the fridge. I walked outside to give my wife her drink came back in and she bagged both meals. I asked did she put egg in the bowl she said yes. I opened the bag and surprise no egg.5th She next lied and said she mixed the egg into the ground beef. I said no you fried to eggs and put them on the previous customers meal. 6th She lied again and said he ordered only egg. I told her I saw her looking for the eggs, and there was no need to lie. She offered my money back for the bowl which I accepted. Horrible...

This is the most authentic burrito in the neighborhood. I have been eating in riverside for a couple decades and the other places are okay but this is a step above and better quality food. I've eaten at Burrito Queen about 8 times now over some months and after trying a bunch of things from the menu, the best is either the ground beef or braised beef burrito to get that real authentic flavor to me. The poutine is really good. They cook the gravy in a sauce pan per order so the heat is perfect and cheese melted just right. You don't see that anywhere else. Maybe that will change as they get busier.

For people that like serious hot pepper flavor and heat I'd recommend extra habanero sauce. I eat ghost peppers, scorpion peppers, bondas etc... and while it will totally burn someone that is not used to real hot peppers, this sauce takes me to an enjoyable burn with good spicy habanero flavor on the burrito. I can only dream they have some ghost pepper sauce some day as that is the best most fragrant tasting pepper...
