Grillway Souvlaki House — Restaurant in Toronto

Ive been going to Grillway for over 20 years and cant believe its taken me this long to write a review. For us Grillway is always the to go, default place to go. You cannot get anything that doesn't taste amazing here.

My top picks are the burger (they make it from high grade beef in house each day), 12" assorted sub - THE BEST ASSORTED IN THE CITY, and the Poutine. The poutine is what made me want to write this review today. Their poutine has always been my favorite in the world! Ive had poutines all over the city and around Quebec). You can get classic which is shredded cheese and the thickest and BEST gravy loaded over the crunchy fries, or the Greek version which replaces the mozzarella with feta cheese. My girlfriend orders greek salad and chicken at every restaurant we go to and she swears by the fact that this is the best one shes ever had (pics also attached).

I remember driving by when it first opened up and it was just jammed pack. I finally came by to see why all the excitement was about and got a burger to go and let’s say this is one little gem of a restaurant. The burger was grilled perfectly and beef patty was home made, thick, and melded well with an array of fresh condiments and sauces that is made to order. It is a fusion of Canadian and Greek food, that will appeal to the masses. There’s great value here, you are getting fresh premium food but not at a premium price.
