I usually order through the app and have no issues. But today I place an order and went to the restaurant and they told me they don’t have my order. And instead of helping me find out what happened to my order she said call customer support and started taking other customers. She didn’t even give me a support number I had to figure it out myself. So I was left with confusion of where my paid order went. I eventually called customer support and they confirmed I placed my order and it should be in their system and the support lady called this location and they didn’t pick up and she said she has to submit a ticket.. ok so I ask for a refund and I was told the restaurant has to do it. And once again I’m left with confusion cause how is the restaurant that didn’t receive my order going to give me a refund. At this point I just got frustrated and went back inside and told them the order was placed and went through. And they made me my order after serving everyone else that came before me and told me they couldn’t pick up the supports calls because they were “busy”. So it took about an hour to just get the food I paid for online to skip a busy line initially. Harveys should find a way to efficiently handle orders like this. Like how hard would it be to take my order number and find that an order was placed. Like why is customer support able to pull up my order and not the people at the store. On the bright side there are many other restaurants around this location I can chose from. I will not...
Read moreUpdate on 19th December 2024:- Still this is not resolved, they offered me a sweet dessert. No I don’t need that. Ironically, my complaint was forwarded to the same person to deal with, for whom I complaint about. Wow !! This was hilarious and concerning at the same time.
And now with No tax policy, the quantity of the stuff is reduced by this restaurant, I bought the Large poutine and opened it at home and saw the poutine is way less than what it usually is. I have added second photo for reference. Thanks.
I recently visited Harveys and ordered their classic poutine with extra gravy which I normally take from here, expecting the usual deliciousness.
However, I was sorely disappointed this time. It seems the manager decided to try his hand in the kitchen, but it was a disaster. The poutine tasted like it was soaked in oil, a far cry from the usual quality. He wears a formal attire and roam around in the kitchen and It's evident that the manager's formal attire didn't translate to culinary skills. Stick to your managerial duties, and leave the cooking to the professionals.
The poutine tastes far better when the employees make it. Look at the picture, it doesn’t even look like it has extra gravy. It looks more like just fries. Hey manager, I urge you to stick to supervision only, leave the kitchen in...
Read more2 hours ago I went to order a buffalo chicken poutine (large) & paid for the extra dill garlic sauce as well (as would be normal) I shortly after paying, realized I had forgotten my water bottle on a really hot day & was parched yet hadn't realized I was without my bottle until I recieved the order. Upon receiving the poutine, I asked for a cup of water assuming the young Indian lady serving me would show a little humanity and allow me at least tap water in a small fountain cup instead of trying to get into line again or butt in before someone else. It's extremely rare that I or anyone else whom is a frequent customer would ask for this... but you would expect this woman not to exercise such ridiculous excuses as to say "we don't have cups for water" and that "no we don't allow fountain cups for water when I'm having to walk outside feeling unwell because I have 15 mins to walk home in the heat without hydration. What kind of employee, (the same employee I see almost very day) denies a good customer an empty fountain cup, just for a small drink of water? Not asking much. I'm sure you wouldn't deny a senior or woman the same courtesy. It's not only bad customer service, it's complete ignorance & out of touch. I will be contacting corporate office regarding this if not the management at this...
