Food: 3 stars for price, portion, and for being reasonably tasty. Service: 4 stars for a speedy delivery! Atmosphere: 2 stars for a place to sit and for being relatively clean. Helena’s kitchen offers decent food at an almost discounted price. The portions are fair, I ordered the grilled chicken (with honey mustard dressing) with 3 sides: corn/beans, latkes, and coleslaw; and a Coke Zero for about $12. However, given the choice I probably would have preferred the stuffed chicken, the quiche or a meat pie. Unfortunately, I arrived 1 hour before they close and they no longer had those options. The food was a bit lacking in flavor and my latke cold. The service was very quick! An entire meal made in under 5 minutes! They are located in a noisy cafeteria, that is relatively clean. You can’t go wrong with this place if you are looking for a quick, cheap, decent meal on the go!!

12 years ago, as a poor OCADU student I always get the stuffed chicken breast with corn, rice, sliced beets and pancake all in under $10. Somehow, they survived the pandemic and uncontrolled inflation, and I’m still eating the same stuffed chicken breast with the same sides now that I have a job nearby the Grange. Same owners from a decade ago, and they’re very nice and friendly. I am amazed at how consistent and tasty the food is after so long, as the world outside burns. Try the quiche and perogies as well. This is good value food in a city so expensive to live in. Always lineups at lunch, and it really is one of those time capsule places in the Village by the Grange that I’m sure OCADU alumni go to once a while to have a taste of nostalgia.

I came here a couple times for lunch and the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. For less than $9, you get a stuffed or grilled chicken breast, and 3 sides. There are a ton of really healthy options - I particularly like the barley, beet salad, carrots, green beans, and broccoli. They also have some really good quiches and meat pies. The couple that work here are lovely and always serve your food with a smile. Highly recommend this place if you want something healthy and cheap!

The food's really good and especially the value/price that you pay. The person serving is a very sweet lady and serves up decent portions. I got the stuffed chicken breast (spinach type) and with 3 sides (so I got a latke w/sour cream, green beans and corn with bulgur wheat in it (I think). This is only $10. TEN DOLLARS (after tax).

The chicken breast had a generous portion of spinach stuffing and the chicken was not dry in the slightest. I got mushroom sauce and mustard with the chicken too. Latke was also delicious too, crunchy on the outside and a bit of nice chew on the inside (the sour cream also helped improve the taste too).

Overall, when I come next time, I want to try the quiches, their quiches look...
