Impact Kitchen = Healthy Heaven on Earth Okay, let’s just start with this: if you’re looking for food that actually makes you feel good after eating (like, genuinely nourished instead of instantly bloated), Impact Kitchen is the SPOT. They’ve got a menu that’s basically a love letter to anyone with food allergies, health goals, or a borderline obsession with clean eating. Everything’s 100% gluten-free ✅, no shady seed oils ❌, no refined sugars ❌—just pure, wholesome fuel that your body and taste buds will thank you for. Personal faves? • The breakfast bagel = perfection. 🥯 • The paleo waffles = crispy outside, fluffy inside, sweet without the sugar crash. 🧇 • Protein cookie = I’m not saying it changed my life… but I’m also not not saying that. 🍪 • Zesty Mexican Power Bowl = flavor explosion. Mic drop. 🌶️ Their protein balls are basically little round miracles. ⚡ And don’t even get me started on the camo matcha—so smooth, so frothy, so green it feels healthy just looking at it. 🍵 The vibe? Totally chill. Whether you’re looking to plug in and work 💻, recover post-gym 🏋️‍♀️, or catch up with friends ☕, they’ve got the ambiance nailed. Spacious seating, cool energy, and that sweet spot between café and wellness sanctuary. Staff = 10/10 angels. Super helpful with allergies and always smiling. You get the feeling they actually care, which is rarer than a good gluten-free croissant these days. 👼 Yes, it’s a bit pricy 💸, but honestly, for the quality, ingredients, and care they put into every bite? Worth. Every. Penny. Bottom line: whether you’re paleo, plant-based, or just trying to eat like an adult who doesn’t think Doritos are a food group (no judgment), Impact Kitchen slaps. Hard. Support local ❤️, eat clean 🥗, vibe high ✨. I’ll def be grubbing here again—probably tomorrow. 11/10. Would power bowl again.

The lift chocolate smoothie is delicious - it hits the spot since it’s a “healthier” version of milkshake. It has a good viscosity although it could be even thicker. The cappuccino is pretty good. The chocolate collagen pudding is tiny and has a somewhat jelly mousse texture. It tasted ok, it’s just very expensive. The collagen booster shot is also tiny and very expensive - the exact brand is in Loblaws for a fraction of the price. I don’t like that the refrigerated items don’t all have prices and it’s not written on a menu nor on the product. Very bizarre and not transparent. That needs to change. It’s a modern spacious go-to spot as it’s big enough to always have a table (all surrounding cafes never seem to have a seat) even though it’s always busy. It’s also big enough to be left alone to work - lots of people also have their laptops out. The music provides some atmosphere and it’s not too loud. The service is perhaps “too friendly” as they spend far too long talking to friends/locals and creating long queues. There is always a long wait for smoothies and coffees for cafe standards - 5-10 minutes waiting in line and then 20+ minutes for merely drinks to arrive. I’ve not ordered their hot food yet so don’t want to know how long that wait would be. There are a few washrooms and they’re pretty modern and clean. Overall, I’d recommend this place if you’re not in a rush and want to use your laptop here.

Food - I primarily eat vegetarian, my husband does not. So finding places for both of us to eat, can be tricky at times. I love that impact caters to both Vegetarians and meat eaters alike. The food was bright, colorful, fresh, and so delicious. There were so many menu options for healthy choices as well as more indulgent choices. I was extremely pleased with our food. We were there for breakfast. My husband had the breakfast bagel and he added bacon to it as well as hot sauce. He said it was awesome. I had scrambled eggs with avocado, salsa, Fresca and bean Molé. So good! I will 100% be eating it again. Service - As soon as we walked in, we were greeted with a smile. The lady behind the counter explained the menu to us and was extremely pleasant. The food arrived very quickly, and everybody was very charming in the restaurant. Ambiance - The ambience was great. Industrial vibes, very open and spacious. Bathrooms - The bathrooms are unisex bathrooms that are well decorated and very clean. Other - I did notice a cabinet of baked goods I didn’t get a chance to try any, but I will be back to try some soon. And my flat white was delicious as well. It was made with oat milk, I did ask for soy milk, but they don’t have any. So if you’re strictly looking for soy, unfortunately, they don’t carry that.

We first tried Impact Kitchen on Adelaide a few weeks ago. They were recommended by our gym so we thought it would make a great, healthy lunch option.

The first time we went, we enjoyed our lunch tremendously, we bought the most delicious granola as well as some baked goods.

We went to their Yonge St. Location a couple weeks later to pick up some baked goods and more granola and had no issues.

We decided to go to the Adelaide location for lunch today and to pick up more granola and were left with a horrible experience.

My husband wanted the chicken pesto wrap. The cashier said that they were out of wraps so we asked if they had bread, which was available. We then asked them to just make it into a sandwich instead of a wrap. She said they can’t do that!

WHAT??? You have the ingredients, you have bread; just slap the damn ingredients in between two slices of bread and call it a sandwich!!!

We tried to clarify that we were just asking them to take the ingredients that they put in the wrap and put it on some bread instead but the cashier said she had to ask if that was possible. So she asked someone else who then came to the cash register and took over. The next woman said that he could order a different sandwich instead, but he wanted the chicken pesto; he had that wrap before and loved it so he wanted it again. She then said she would have to check if it was possible to make it a sandwich, but came back and said that they do have a few wraps so we ordered the wrap and a bowl for me. We also ordered a smoothie, some granola and some baked goods to take home.

We were given a table number and we went to sit down. After about 10 minutes, the smoothie arrived, my bowl arrived, but my husband’s wrap didn’t arrive. We waited for about 20 more minutes but it still had not arrived so I pulled out the receipt, and we found that the wrap wasn’t added to the order at all!

My husband went up to the counter and mentioned to the woman who cashed us out that she forgot to put the wrap on the bill. She said “oops, I missed that”! Which is unbelievable considering the whole discussion about making the wrap into a sandwich. She then said she would get it ready and my husband could go to the cash and pay for the wrap. He said he didn’t want it anymore since I was almost finished my lunch. He sat back down at the table and someone came by to ask how everything was. My husband said “actually it sucked, because I never got my food.” To which she replied “sorry” and walked away. We then got up and left the restaurant with a very hangry diabetic man who ended up having one of the baked goods which isn’t a good plan for him, not matter how healthy they are.

Now, everybody is entitled to make a mistake. What makes a happy customer (and prevents a bad review) is how the mistake is handled. This mistake was atrociously handled which is why I have posted this negative review.

At no point did anyone say “That wasn’t handled very well, let me get a manager to help you out here” which would have smoothed out the whole situation. Instead, we left the restaurant with a terrible experience and don’t want to go back, if that is how the staff are instructed to handle issues that come up. The staff just don’t seem to care about how they do their jobs and customer service is completely lacking. Who is training these people? Why does it seem like rocket science to make a wrap into a sandwich, when you have run out of wraps? Why don’t the staff have the presence of mind to grab a manager when a customer is unhappy with their experience?

We spent about $500 at the two locations over the past few weeks and would have made Impact Kitchen a regular lunch and treat spot. Now we won’t even recommend them to anyone because of the terrible way they handled their mistake.

Impact Kitchen’s Adelaide location is a standout spot for anyone passionate about healthy, delicious food. Situated in a bustling area, this branch offers a perfect retreat with its clean, modern design and warm, welcoming ambiance.

The menu is impressively diverse, catering to various dietary needs including vegan, gluten-free, and paleo options. I had the Protein Pancakes and an Energizer Smoothie, and both were phenomenal. The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful, topped with fresh berries and a drizzle of maple syrup. The smoothie was a refreshing burst of energy, packed with nutritious ingredients that left me feeling revitalized.

What sets Impact Kitchen Adelaide apart is their unwavering commitment to sustainability. They source their ingredients locally and prioritize eco-friendly practices, which adds an extra layer of satisfaction to every bite. It’s wonderful to enjoy a meal that’s not only good for you but also good for the planet.

While the prices might be a bit higher than average, the quality and care evident in each dish make it worth every penny. The portion sizes are generous and well-balanced, ensuring you leave feeling satisfied and nourished.

The staff at the Adelaide location are fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and always ready to help you navigate the menu. The service is prompt and efficient, even during the busy lunch rush, making for a smooth and enjoyable dining experience.

Impact Kitchen Adelaide is more than just a restaurant; it’s a destination for those who appreciate wholesome, thoughtfully prepared food. If you’re in the area and looking for a place that combines health, flavor, and sustainability, this is the spot for you....
