If I could give zero stars I would!!! While waiting for our smoothies I decided to purchase a bag for my buns. The quarter I had was a bit rusted so the lady said she didn’t want it. I didn’t even say anything as I was just looking at my coin trying to remember where I got it. Any way I realized the lady was still going on about how she doesn’t want it and has a right to not accept it. I said it’s cool lady I didn’t say anything. Then she went back to making our smoothies. My daughter and I were just standing waiting then she came to ask the other person working if we were trying to give her the coin?! Like seriously?! The cashier said no they are just waiting. I explained to the cashier I didn’t say anything and do not care if she wants the coin. She obviously heard the lady going crazy over this coin which was never an issue to me and apologized. I said no worries it’s not your fault. Then the lady came over and said it’s not my fault either. At this point I just wanted to leave so I asked for a refund. My smoothies hadn’t even begun to be made. The psycho lady started yelling and threatened to call security haha interesting when I was the one telling her chill man I don’t care about the coin. Finally she gave me my money back and I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. Also she didn’t wash her hands before making my smoothie. Please go downstairs to real fruit instead they are actually...

This is a must know for a quick tasty and cheap snack! The bun + drink deal is unbelievable good. We got two large fresh watermelon juices and got 2 free buns as a part of their ongoing promo. It was $15, but you get free buns with a small drink too which should be just over $10. Considering that a juice stand downstairs sells their watermelon juice for $9, this is an amazing deal:D The juice was tasty, no added sugar, and we were offered free toppings. The buns were baked fresh & tasted great. The garlic one was packed with flavor. I highly recommend the spot. It’s on the second floor of Gerard square across from Staples. We only noticed it because the fresh buns smelled amazing, but it is now one of my go-to spots....

Great place! First time here.

The selection is limited but they have all the standard Chinese buns plus a few extras like egg tarts, but buns are their specialty. The buns are bigger than the ones you find in Chinatown... they're like the kind of bun size you remember from the 80s. The prices are good $1.33 + tax for 1 or $7 + no tax for 6. The bread is really good fresh and fluffy and just a little bit chewy with that nice pull apart texture that bread should have. They bake everything fresh on site. So you can sit around and watch them bake.

Will...

I bought a tuna bread, but there was barely any filling inside, just a tiny dot of tuna spread. I even checked the rest of the bread, but there was none at all. The parchment paper was also stuck to the bread, dried out, and very hard to peel off. I had to throw it away after one bite. The Hong Kong–style milk tea was also very bland. Since the store reopened, the quality of the products hasn’t improved, they taste dry and don’t look as good as before. Really disappointing. Such a waste of money. Expensive bread and drink but not serving good quality. - November 6, 2025
