"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The staff was rude and unhelpful, and the food was mediocre at best. I would not recommend this place to anyone."

"I was shocked at how unprofessional the staff was at this store. The server named Andy was a Server and my partner on the 31st of December, I asked the server for a warm glass of water as I could not drink the cold drink i didn't ask my partner if he wanted it. The server Andy brought glass a of warm water and cracked a joke by saying that I was selfish by not asking my partner if he wanted to as well. I found that joke to be highly insensitive and unnecessasry as without knowing the reason he commented that I was selfish for not asking my partner for a glass of water.

When We asked for a glass of water again we were completely ignored, after waiting for 10 minutes I asked the waiter if we can have the glass of water he said he can not accommodate us. I asked for this manager and informed his manager about the worst intraction we had with him.

My partner was kind to tip the server even though we were completely ignored. It was a terrible experience!

If you are SMART ENOUGH DO NOT GO TO THIS RESTAURANT AND IF YOU BY ANY CHANCE PLEASE MAKE SURE THE SERVER NAME ANDY ISN'T THE ONE WHO IS...

It's been a while since I last visited Kinton Ramen, however for a friend who was coming down from Ottawa to visit, we decided to make a visit there. I was a bit hesitant since my last visit to Kinton Ramen in 2016 was disappointing.

It was a freezing Friday evening and we needed something to warm up our souls. Luckily Kinton Ramen was nearby and he was craving it for so long. It was 9 pm when we arrived and we were seated quickly fortunately.

I was craving something spicy and luckily the Pork Spicy Garlic Ramen did the trick. The broth was full of depth in flavour. I would have preferred a bit more chili powder and less garlic since I love spicy food. However, the broth complimented the al dente thick noodles nicely. The pork shoulder was nice and tender to bring the whole bowl together.

My friend ordered the Pork Miso Ramen and he enjoyed it thoroughly. The garlic oil added an umami touch to the broth which brought the whole bowl together.

Overall, we enjoyed our visit to this location. The service was excellent and the server were very eager when I finished my bowl. It's a tradition at Kinton that if you finish the whole bowl of ramen, you get your picture taken to be shown on their Kinton Bowler...

Decided on this place after spending my last night in Toronto with my wife. Glad I made this choice. I won't mention the atmosphere of this place too much, because it's Friday night, and the food scene in Toronto is bustling. Especially when we walked in having to wait close to 15 minutes for a seating of 2. Not a long wait. Tight seating as place is not too big. My wife ordered the spicy pork raeman and I the original pork raeman. Both very good. Better than I expected. One suggestion is whatever raeman you order, go with the thick noodle. We also ordered the original karaage. That was very good. More juicer and not even dried out, like Popeyes fried chicken next door down. Lol. Prices very reasonable, not expensive at all. We both loved the broth on our raeman. My wife usually never drinks the broth on her raeman , but this is the first time I've seen her bowl nearly empty and for me, if it's good raeman, you will almost finish all the broth that comes with the raeman. So we'll worth it in my book, would recommend and suggest. Definitely for the taste and quality of food, fast service too. Not a long wait for...

Pre-Covid, I would occasionally eat here and the service here would be fast and amazing. Food’s also really good, Kinton’s spicy pork ramen is one of my favourite, also their tako wasabi is pretty bomb. I also like how they serve Asahi in tiny glasses, for a tiny Asian girl like me, I can never finish more than 6-7ozs so that size is perfect me (they also offer larger sizes for that beer). They lose one star because of a recent purchase that I made via UberEats. I ordered the spicy pork ramen and when I opened my take out, I was shocked to see two small pieces of pork, some green onions/minced garlic and a TON of noodles. I felt like they cut back on ingredients and I definitely did not get my money’s worth. I basically paid $13 for broth and noodles. Had I known that was the case, I would have just ordered a vegetarian ramen. Hopefully the portions won’t be like that when I decide to go dine-in in person next time. Disappointed.

This location is pretty small. I didn't like how we had to share a table with other guests. But the interior is nice and clean. They have wooden stools for seats and a little cubby at the bottom of the seats to place your belongings. Their food was okay, I had the pork original ramen combo with ton ton don. For the ramen, broth wasn't as flavourful as I'd like. I personally didn't enjoy the don, as I did not know the seasoned pork is served cold. Regardless, the ramen and don still tasted good. I also got the chance to take advantage of their free dessert instagram promotion; roasted green tea pudding. I wouldn't recommend this dessert if you love something sweet, as it is somewhat a bitter dessert. Kinton also has a rewards incentive called Kinton Bowlers; it is a cool and cute concept. Overall, I would come back to try their other foods and flavours of ramen.
