Staff at this university are extremely irresponsible, especially the advisors. As an international student, taking the right courses and credits is critical for my studies and even my ability to stay in Canada, but advisors often give wrong or misleading guidance. On top of that, whenever you need help from the finance or advising team, it takes more than a month and 5–6 reminder emails just to get a response. This is not only my experience—many of my classmates deal with the same issues. The staff simply do not seem to understand, or care, how important and time-sensitive these matters are for students. The lack of accountability and support creates unnecessary stress and serious risks for international students who depend on accurate advice and timely communication.
