TLDR: CHECK YOUR BILL FOR COSTS AND PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR ORDER FOR ACCURACY the store messed up three out of five orders, and all of the items cost more than the website menu. I ordered over the phone with the restaurant, not over a food app which is notorious for different pricing, so there's no excuse for this scam.
Made a food order yesterday. Hit up your website and saw the "we've got the best crispy spicy beef" claim, and that pretty much took care of making my mind up for food. What I got wasn't that though. And it wasn't the only problem with my order either.
The girl taking phone orders at the King St location was just awful. Despite telling her my name, Art, a couple of times, I even spelled it out for her. A. R. T. The name on my order? "AIJ"... not even kidding. That level of accuracy carried through the entirety of our order.
Chicken Satay ($10.99) was asked for over the phone. Instead, a Chicken Pad Thai ($16.99) was ordered. I was charged $17.99 for it.
I asked for the Fresh Rolls ($8.99) and got them. Was charged $10.99 for them however.
I asked for the Crab Rangoon ($8.99) and got them. Was charged $9.99 for it though.
Asked for a Samui Stir Fry Basil Chicken ($18.99) off the promotions part of the menu. We got a Chicken Basil Stir Fry ($16.99) instead, and were charged $17.99 for it too.
And, finally, my "best crispy spicy beef" Chicken Spicy Stir Fry ($16.99) was some soggy beef instead, ordered as a Beef Basil Stir Fry ($16.99) that I was charged $17.99 for.
What on earth are you guys doing over there? Three out of five orders were completely wrong, and the two orders you got right were billed at $3 more than the website pricing.
Food was okay, noodle dishes were pretty dry, but the other items, though completely wrong, tasted fine for what they were, but the pricing everywhere was wrong. Order elsewhere if you want to get what you ask...
Read moreI would like you to raise the food cost enough to add egg in pad Thai and some kind of vegetable.
I order curry dishes and pad thai 1-2x a week, but notice the pad thai has declined a bit. I find myself out of energy if I order 4+ dishes and try to live partly off your food over a weekend due to low vegetable quantity. You are gracious to add extra limes on request. I would rather pay another 1-2$ per dish for a little egg, green onions or any vegetable. Otherwise it's not a balanced meal in any way. (The last order of pad thai forget peanuts and the flavour was much less than usual. It's my first time being disappointed).
The massaman curry is always delicious and feels healthier.
The packaging is top notch.
I understand Uber takes a large chunk of profits, but also increases quantity of orders for overall profits. I am a regular and loyal customer, but want you to raise the price a little instead of lowering food quality. I would like an excellent pad thai that is healthier nutrition wise and costs a...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of dining at Koh Samui, a fantastic Thai restaurant. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm and friendly service. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, with traditional Thai decor that added to the overall ambiance of the restaurant.
But of course, the highlight of the evening was the food! Koh Samui's menu was extensive, with a wide variety of Thai dishes to choose from. Each dish was prepared with the freshest ingredients and expertly spiced to perfection. I particularly enjoyed the pad thai and the green curry, which were both bursting with flavor and had just the right amount of heat.
The portions were generous, and the prices were very reasonable considering the high quality of the food and service. Server was attentive and knowledgeable about the menu, and made great recommendations.
Overall, I would highly recommend Koh Samui to anyone looking for an authentic and delicious Thai dining experience. I can't wait to go back and try...
